@@yardiebaby5953 Thanks for your reply: It doesn,t make sense that unnessesary (cosmetic) genital surgery on a newborn baby should be a "choice" for parents. An amputation of normal, healthy tissue on a likewise healthy baby that brings with it pain and suffering, risk of infection, brain damage because of blood loss and even death. The risks and downsides of newborn circumcision are real and not "what some people believe". Is baby care lost knowledge in America? Outside USA parents know that there are no "risks" for a baby by to stay the way he was born and that boy's private parts are self-cleaning through childhood and adolescence and only need to be washed on the outside. In my country Sweden, circumcision is not offered to parents, noone is asking for it and foreskin problems are virtually unheard of at all ages. Why should it be different in America?
