Julius Blum founded Blum in his hometown of Vorarlberg in Austria 71 years ago. Today Blum is an international leader manufacturing lift mechanisms, hinges and drawer hardware for kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and other living spaces, with innovative design and top quality.

From our local roots in Austria, Blum has grown to employ over 9,300 people worldwide. We operate eight plants in Vorarlberg and production sites in the USA, Brazil, Poland and China. Blum now supplies cabinet and furniture hardware to more than 120 markets, with 32 subsidiaries and representative offices worldwide.
