I wish it was a little more noticeable. it gets subsumed too quickly into the rest of the piece. Other than that I love it. The MC-707 seems to make it easier for me get more interesting in my percussion. Hope it's true. I haven't really tried too hard to get better at drums. Maybe now that I'll be retiring and can put more time into it.

Tangerine Dream was the first electronic music I'd heard other than some avant garde stuff like Subotnik. I think I bought Phaedre first in the early 70's and then I bought Zeit and Atem. I think Atem is the one that inspired this piece. The Uno Synth Pro X is new so I am still learning what I want to use it for. I was playing around with it and that's how the piece got started. the rest was built around the sequence. I had heard the Pro X was paraphonic and I let myself think it did more than it really does. the Microfreak's Paraphony is very useful. but on the Pro X, Really it's a mono bass synth that has some limited paraphony. Once I accepted that I have really enjoyed the Pro X a lot more.

Not sure what you mean by voiceover. my voice was recorded in the mix.. some of it via the RC202 looper and some into the mixer dry with effects added in post. the loops on the looper had effects added from the 202

minifreak does have keys but i think ya loose the sample option @@wendelynmusic

@@SonicVibe I don't like the samples on the microfreak anyway so that's no issue. Too much of a pain to use. I love the keys on the microfreak since I tend to think of them as CV sources rather than notes anyway, but I can live with the regular keys on the minifreak.

I love the hydrasynth. It's my favorite. And as I get better at the SH4D I'm really liking it more and more. They work together really well

i for some reason got along with the SH-4d right away hydrasynth sounds great was either that or the gaia 2 i been thinking about pairing with it gaia kinda pricey though @@wendelynmusic

@@SonicVibe I've had the Hydrasynth for a while now. the Gaia 2 wasn't an option at the time. it does look interesting though but I don't have space for another larger synth. I almost bought the new Teenage Engineering TKO2 but as I've looked into it I realize it won't do what I want it to do so I cancelled my order. I've debated about something like the MKII thingy but i don't know. I think I will wait before I buy anything more.

yeah it is a big synth and the ml2 had some quality control issues the first ko 33 is a fun small device though @@wendelynmusic
