You need a very fine espresso grind. Fill it to the top、 tamp it lightly、fill again to the top、use the tamper to polish it level only. Screw on the cap. Bobs your uncle. Experiment with tamp pressure.

Sir is there a minimum required amount of water in the pot? And how long does it take to heat up with this minimum amount of water? I ask since I only need to steam once. TY
The best thing to do is fill the water up to about 5mm below the gold valve in the side of the pot.

你需要9～10倍大氣壓才能去做出意式咖啡，你活塞面積要很小才能直接用手去壓，火塞直徑4公分，需要125公斤力量，你人站上去都不夠重，只有用杠桿機構才能辦得到。網路上有人用二氧化碳小鋼瓶，或電動輪胎打氣機，去加壓，那效果就還可以。
125公斤施加到直徑4公分的平面，壓力應該會是95.7bar (你可以粗略當成是94倍大氣壓)！ 除了計算錯誤，你計算壓力的平面，也不應該用活塞橫切面積計算，活塞橫切平面的面積再大，但如果出水口橫切面積不變，往活塞施加相同的力，水的壓力都是相同的！ 你要用活塞出水口橫切面積去計水壓才對。假如粗略當出水口直徑是1.5公分，面績就是1.766平方公分，只要用10公斤的力(準確來說是98N的力)去施壓，壓力就是 (10*9.8)/1.766 = 55.5 kgf/cm2，亦即可以換算作53.7 倍大氣壓或53 bar。 理論上，你用上2公斤的力就能產生足夠壓力去做意式咖啡，現在問題是這咖啡機的內部阻力應該很大，但我估計用人手是可以達到9 bar的。

I got one from eBay for $12. It takes a while to deliver. Don't use powder grind espresso (it will clog), use between coffee coarse grind and fine. Tamp firm but not hard; fill almost to top.Works great!

How aas the taste? Was is the same as the ready made ones?
I just got one of these yesterday, and it is not working correctly. I tried everything from very fine to very coarse grind, with various tamping levels. On the fine grind (similar to what you used in this video), nothing came out - I could hear the pump straining, but not so much as a drop. On the coarse grind, with almost no tamp, it drips about .5 oz of watery brown, bitter coffee. Burr grinder, ceramic burrs. Any tips?
I had the same problem! you have to fill it completely. Make sure the coffee fills completely capsule after you compress it, before closing it. It should work!

Caffitaly ve cafissimo uyumlu sistemler, çalışıyor olması lazım.
I bought the plastic ones from Aliexpress, and I'm happy to say it worked. It comes with a rubber seal in the lid. First I was sceptic if it will seal, but no leakage at all. Cleaning it afterwards takes a couple of minutes, but that's betterr than waisting too much plastic cups.
How's the taste? Same with the ones you buy from Illy?
