I wish I'd known all of this before 4's release. I would NOT have bought 4 day one out of excitement for the return to the beat-em-up format. Sadly it wasn't until after I bought it that I started hearing about Ilinx. And because Playstation's refund policy is such garbage, I'm out CAD$80 for a game I don't really enjoy. The combat is still not at the level it was in GB3 - everything feels more limited; the dual wield mechanics lead to individual weapon movesets being less fleshed out, the categorizing of many weapons that used to be Option Equipment into now being EX Moves reduces the variety of loadouts I can specialize in, the removal of weapon-based EX moves straight up means less options for combat, and the Combo/Break Combo system means combat now boils down to spam attacks and destroy machines as fast as possible regardless of what your suit is equipped with. I could maybe deal with all of this if I could read the text in menus, but it's so goddamn small it makes even customizing my Gunpla a chore to do.

I can't unsee the wrongs. Gundam Breaker 3 was smooth, quick, customizable in how you fight and how you build your Gundam affected how you fighted too.

I pretty much feel the same way. Conceptually I like it, but when I played the CBT I wasn't really fond of the gameplay loop. It just feels lackluster to me. Hoping the singleplayer (whatever it is) is good and can be played offline. I kinda just expect it to be what's there in the online mode, but with bots and some cutscenes sprinkled in. If no offline mode then I definitely won't be buying

I'm sure there will be an option to turn off the announcer, but personally I don't mind it.

The most impressive part is level 5 haven’t given up on this game yet. The first episode came out like 3 years ago and they kept updating and releasing contents.

I haven't played the game, but after watching videos about it, it seems the game focuses more on builds, dioramas, and online play than on what your builds can do in battles.

The customization is very minute in this game, its too much team focused + loot boxes and battlepass bullshit, controls feel clunky it's just a sad truth that it's a worse version of Armored Core 6. But still the main problem is that your mech doesn't feel like it's yours because this is essentially Dota with Mechs as Mechs are simply classes.

Game developers need a source of income to make console games. I don't know how much they make from making console games
