Hurricane & Waterspouts | Scalloping Steinhatchee Florida

Scalloping in Steinhatchee Florida with a tropical storm and waterspouts bearing down on us.
Found this after looking up skiffs to show my wife. We currently own a driveway tax burden “aka sailboat” and want to sell it to fund a river runner. We live in Frankfort. The Ohio river is superior in everyway but its a shame not to use ours when its right here. Ivd been here for 8 years and I really dont understand why the river isnt a focal point for recreation but it really isnt. I think the demographics here dictate that.
Really cool diving! What a fun looking trip
Wow! The water clarity was unbelievable! The shots of the manatee was super cool!
The blacked shark looked tasty! Have you tried it fried yet?
Nice grouper, trout, shark! The snorkeling looked fun! Great trip! Thanks for sharing!
I used to lock tugboats on the Ohio. That hand laid lock looks awesome!
Always go with the hammock ON the boat. Best way to camp.
Hey guy, youtube Al Gore rythms brought your video up for me. I've been enjoying and will immediately subscribe. That maneuver at 9:20 had me on the edge of my seat. I broke a leg doing such a thing and the f***** took six months before I was outt've the cast. And then I was hobbled up for months. I ain't your mamma but listen up, look after yourself haha. You had my cringe alert on number 9.
Yeah, with age comes wisdom. My younger self wouldn’t have thought twice about it. Thanks for subscribing and glad you enjoyed.
That is the brightest red head lamp I’ve seen! What kind is it?
Believe it or not I got that at Walmart. It’s Swiss brand and rechargeable. Liked it so much I have several other of their products.
You definitely have poison I’ve now! 😂😂😂
You gotta worry about getting out on the bank on private property on the river. River people are sometimes insane meth heads. I’ve ran up on some wild characters on the river.
You gonna want to stay on the boat. Not much bank access unless you get up in a creek.
Thanks for the comments everyone. Getting a lot of questions about the type of boat. It is a G3 bay 18 DLX tunnel with a 115 Yamaha SHO
where have you been?
Hi Shroomy. Just posted a short cooking video and I explain the hiatus. Thanks for asking.
@@thepathlesstraveled8194 awesome! i was hoping yall were okay! don’t see the video yet but ill be on the look out. good luck on your path less traveled and god bless!
What app did you use to create this video?
I have professional editing software, but I find that iMovie works well enough for most quick projects
I thought for a second this was Bon Jovi
Hi you should make a tent boat ! Your boat is perfect for that
What name and model kind. Of your boat? I love kind of your boat, I wanna one!
I love to watch ...a lot story and really enjoy your trip while learning on english listening
Great video. Epic adventure. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cool adventure!
Thanks for sharing this. This is a dream trip 👍 👌
That huge rock face is an old abandoned rock quarry in Frankfort. Large neighborhood on top with some great views, but there’s been a couple collapses just to the left of the houses you could see in that shot.
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻 Awesome stuff dude
Why is your car right hand drive
Loved this video ... charming guy.
If you at a lock on the Kentucky river, chances are, there’s a decent national forest campground nearby!
As someone who has grown up on the Kentucky river, just near lock 8, I can tell you, you should always sleep on the boat! Also it’s always muddy! It’s where most of the rain water in eastern Kentucky goes to!
Why sleep on the boat?
Great video and very informative. Thanks for sharing.
What is your boat and model?
Nice!! What kind of skiff you got there?
What kind of boat is that
Sounds like a jerk move by the lock master. Make you wait 20 minutes and then tell you he's closing in a minute? Yeah that is a jerk thing to do to people people I guess he wants you to remember not to come to his lock anymore huh
I bet there is some good Smallmouth fishing in that river, was there any areas that looked almost too shallow for a boat?
How is this guy such a natural on camera? Cool Video
you working on anything new? enjoyed your kentucky river video a lot! would love to see more. i’m from eastern ky!
I really enjoyed this video, thanks for sharing! We launch at Carrollton occasionally but never locked through.
What size boat? And model?
Thanks. That was fun!
What a cool freaking trip. Definitely making me miss Kentucky. Thanks for sharing this. Looks like you’re here in FL, so maybe we’ll cross paths someday. Nothing beats simple camping and a good steak over a little fire.
Proper shoes would be a necessity !!!
This was in my suggested videos to watch. I clicked on it just to have some background noise and I ended up watching it. I didn’t think I was going to enjoy this video but I did! Thank you!
love the sound of those katydids
Looked like a fun trip! Pretty sweet have the river all to yourself! Thanks for sharing!
Is this the area where Deliverance was filmed? #Banjos
Grew up in Carrollton and my best friend in grade school lived right there at the lock number 1. Her dad was lock master.
Just found your channel. Really enjoyed the videos and then realized you only.had a handful and havent posted in months. Where you at!? 😆
Moved to Florida recently. Live on the water now and regrouping for future adventures.
Hows the bass fishing in this river? Anyone know?
You were just here in The Happy Hunting Ground, Kentucky. How about Kentucky Lake, 180 miles long with great fishing and places to see. Thank you. God Bless and stay safe.
Kentucky lake is one of my favorite spots. I second this suggestion.
Canoed from Lock 14 all the way to Carrolton and the Ohio. A buddy and I made the trip in three days, but the river flows to the Ohio so we had some help there. Another friend picked us up and drove us back to the Lock 7 area where I live. Jim's Seafood restarant is a Frankfort destination on the river. Thank you. God Bless and stay safe.
Kayaked Lock 7 couple weeks ago. Went up the Dix one time , then just went upstream past Dix. Wilmore is my backyard also.
