2024 Appalachian ADV Allegheny Jamboree
A July weekend in Marienville PA riding great adventure loops and the Marienville Trails. The event is put on by Kane on Appalachian ADV. This is the third year and it was a good one. I highly recommend you take some time and look into his organizations and join an event. There so better place to meet like minded people. Who doesn't love motorcycle, dirt, campfires and beers.
Each day featured different rides around the Allegheny National Forest. While base camp was in Marienville PA, the adventure rides made their way through Tionesta, Kane, Warren, and Tidioute. There were also guided rides on the Marienville trails as well as an area just north called Rocky Gap. All the guided routes were intermediate to hard, something for every skill level.
Attendees came With all different kinds of bikes. Everything from a TW200 all the way up the a GSA1250 Rally and everything in-between. I think it's safe to say bring what you got and have fun.
DC Dirt Camp was also at the event doing off road training for those who don't have much experience in the dirt. They also gave a seminar on how to change a tube trail side with minimal tools. The riders who took the training rode the first day on a course to practice key skill and by the end of the weekend went out on the trails to test themselves.
