Sepsis Research FEAT (Charity: SC049399) is the UK's only sepsis research and awareness charity, founded in memory of the late Dr Fiona Agnew and her unborn baby daughter. Our mission is to save lives today and fund research for tomorrow.
The number one cause of preventable  death in the world, sepsis is an indiscriminate, deadly condition that can kill a previously healthy adult in a matter of hours.
It kills around 11 million people each year globally and occurs when the immune system overreacts to an infection, attacking tissues and organs and potentially leading to life-changing side effects or death.
We support world-leading research partnerships such as GenOMICC.
We raise awareness of sepsis amongst the public and clinicians, to ensure prompt diagnosis, improve and identify treatments and ultimately save lives.
