Harley Sportster Nightster - Team Dark Custom 2.0
Version 2 of this bike. I laid her down in a corner, so she's gone through some surgery...
2008 Harley Sportster Nightster XL1200N.
Bught it second hand and tweaked it to my own likings.
Mod list, so far:
Hydraulic clutch from Random Engineering
Billet triple trees from The Speed Merchant
Satin black powder coat on frame, swing, forks, foot controls...
Texture black powder coat on engine covers
Harley texture black spray paint on engine case
Hammer Performance 1250cc upgrade, jugs, cams, pistons
Chopped cam cover, struts and rear fender
Removed front fender, belt guards and a ton of plastic
Team Dark Custom design by myself, painted by Tect Airbrush
LePera Bare Bones seat
Harley daymaker LED headlight
Vance & Hines Competition Series 2-1 exhaust
DEI Titanium exhaust wrap
Buchanan twisted stainless spokes
4" rear rim to fit a 180 tire

I've gotten a lot of inspiration from other UA-cam users, so it's about time I share some of my own mods here. It's a 2008 Harley Sportster Nightster XL1200N. Bught it second hand and tweaked it to my own likings. Big thanks to my dad for helping me with fabrication! Also, I recommend getting a Clymer shop manual, or similar, it's saved me a few times. I realize this video is pretty old but could you do a video on where you hid the wiring that is behind the engine? Also the wire loom that runs down the down tube, I watched your older video and only the clutch cable was visible. I would love to clean mine up more.

Sweet Ride .Can you tell me where you got the Rocker Boxes ? I seen some on E Bay But I am reluctant to buy as sometimes China quality is poor.Thanks in addvance.
They're original RSD, so not cheap. However, it's only a cover, nothing strucal, so cheaper Chinese stuff will work fine, but from experience the colors will fade faster on Chinese bits.

Yes, all plastic covers removed.
How well can you see the dash lights with bars and risers rather than clip ons?
I can see them, no issues.

Yeah man they all are been discontinue, even figure machine etc, couldn't find a good one pulley cover just chinese on ebay :(

Sharp ride! Where did you relocate the ECM? I’m guessing in the battery box.. if that’s the case, are you hiding any fuel management in there like a Power Commander too? I’d love to see how you have it set up. I have an ‘09 Nightster and I’m fighting with hiding all the electrical bulls**t.
Yes, running a small li-ion battery, so enough space for ECM & efi tuner in there as well.

Behind the battery cover. It fits if you use a lithium ion battery, they are smaller and lighter than the stock lead acid battery.
