You may wish to delete the Kindle app, reinstall it, and then follow the steps that I shared in this video. It may just be a glitch in the app itself, in which case doing this should hopefully resolve that for you. Hope you manage to get it working!

It does not come with optional lids - the bottle just comes with a standard lid. You may wish to go with the transit mug instead, as we have just found them to be a lot more convenient and the lids seem better designed. I haven’t noticed any issues with my devices, as they are still working well. Obviously, with any electronic device, you can have manufacturer defects. If this seems to be the case, and you have purchased these within the last 12 months, then I would suggest that you go back to the retailer to request a repair/replacement, as they are required to provide that in the UK under your consumer rights. Hope you manage to get it sorted!

I agree with you that their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. You might be able to get a case from their US store, but my view is that if you buy any BOOX product that it is best to order it as a bundle with the case at the same time - as otherwise you will face this very issue of either finding it difficult to source the cover, or being worried about damage to the product. Despite all of this, if you are looking for a device to read PDFs, it still seems to be the best device to use for such purposes, as Amazon still has not caught up with PDF viewing anywhere close to BOOX.

If you can wait a few months, my suggestion would be that you wait for the release of the next BOOX device. They have just released the BOOX Tablet Note Air 4 c, which is a 10.3” colour e-reader featuring Android 13 (but I would not recommend that you purchase that BOOX as it will suffer from the same colour issues as the current colour range of e-readers) - However, it is likely like last year with the Note launches, that they will release a 10.3” Note Air black & white (which should have a front light), so that will probably be a good option. Also, if you want an A4 black & white BOOX device, you are looking at a 13.3” display device - well BOOX have announced a new Note Max black & white e-reader, so that should be a good option (provided it has a front light when it is launched). Alternatively, you can go with the current Tab X which is available in a 13.3” and 10.3” black & white version with front light availability - but they are running the older Android 11 OS. My personal view would be wait for either the new Note Max which has been announced (and get that if it has a front light), or wait to see if they launch a Note Air 4 black & white (if the timings are like last year, then that might be launched by the end of the year or start of next year), as they will have the best current resolution and more recent Android OS. Yes, you can use the reading light with the BOOX Go Color 7. However, doing so would detract from the whole purpose of having an e-reader that you can read in natural light, which is why it’s better to get a black & white e-reader. I think it’s better to have a front light black & white e-reader, but if you want to use a reading light, then have a look at the BOOX Go 10.3 which is a black & white device without a front light. On the Scribe? -When you send (side-load) a PDF via USB to the Kindle you get the classic functionalities like: handwritten/text sticky notes, highlights, dictionary look-ups, text formatting options, etc... -When you send a PDF via one of the many *Send-To-Kindle* variants (with the formatting option ticked), you'll get a formatted PDF compatible with the "On-page writing" feature but in the process you'll be losing every other feature aforementioned, so pick your pain. I don't really understand why Amazon refuses to give us the same functionalities other devices are capable of since many years ago, before the Scribe was released. Yeah, they improved the Scribe a lot with updates and we are expecting new features like "Active Canvas" and "Extended Margin" annotations on books, instead of the classic "sticky notes" system... finally the pen will make more sense.

I chose a denim-colored case for my iPhone 16 Pro in Natural Titanium, and I'm very happy with it.😍
