Fishing is NOT allowed on the lake , water sports , in 20 years it has been used twice for jetski championships. for a lot of its life it had blue green algee growing , meaning no swimming or even going in or near the water. wildlife does like the area.

You know when you are nearly home, when you see it from the A1 heading North. There is also a woodland behind it which takes you down to the river wear, which is a great walk in the summer
