In order to help you understand what seems to be a concerning question in your mind I’m supplying you an excerpt from Wikipedia. Wikipedia is a common resource, so I’ll also provide you a link. You can read a fairly exhaustive history of the King James Bible. As me for me personally, it is my settled belief that the King James Bible is the King James Bible. The word version was never used until the early to mid 1800’s. As you will see in the article the English language was still evolving in the 1600’s. Even today “the language” is subject to scrutiny. The fault of language should never interfere with our ability to believe by faith. I believe God has made His Word available to every people (language) willing to read and follow. From wikipedia, The original printing was made before English spelling was standardized, and when printers, as a matter of course, expanded and contracted the spelling of the same words in different places, so as to achieve an even column of text. They set v for initial u and v, and u for u and v everywhere else. They used the long s (ſ) for non-final s. The letter or glyph j occurs only after i, as in the final letter in a Roman numeral, such as XIIJ.
