    I think that your pick of those 5 languages as among the easiest for English speakers is a good one. Spanish and Swedish could also be added to the list. I do need to make one correction in relation to one of your English- Italian examples @1:38. For English learners of Italian or Italian learners of English do not confuse 'Eventually' with 'Eventualmente' - they are false friends (ie. words that look alike but have different meanings). Eventually = alla fine / Eventualmente = if necessary. eg. I will ask if I can borrow my brother's car tomorrow to go to the city. But if necessary (if he says no) [eventualmente] I will take the bus. You cannot use the word 'eventually' here as it would be incorrect. Eventualmente is how you would say 'if necessary/if need be' in many European languages (English is one of the exceptions).

    • @alessiadonzello
      @alessiadonzello 29 днів тому

      You're right! Thank you for letting me notice! Where are you from?😊

    • @markrodowicz4617
      @markrodowicz4617 28 днів тому

      @@alessiadonzello Eventually/eventualmente is one which frequently creates confusion. Another is actually/attualmente where the word means one thing in English and something different in most European languages. I am from Australia, so I'm a native English speaker. I am starting to study Italian and finding it difficult but still very enjoyable. I like phonetic languages, so I'm very glad I never had to learn English as a second language.

      Last Sunday I have done the Exam. There was slight echo effect at the listening audio. Before the Exam, the invigilator tried the audio and asked me if the audio was clear, I only heard the music and a sentence, "大家好欢迎参加HSK。”Although there was slight echo effect, I could hear that sentence clearly because I have used to hear that sentence. But, when the questions actually started, the slight echo effect really hindered my concentration.

    Sorry for all the questions but when did you see that you were able to make your own sentences without having to translate in your head? Im assuming at first you would also translate in your head. Eg : whats eat again in mandarin..... Oh yeah chī .....

      You don't have to worry, you can ask me as many questions as you want!💪 I haven't had that phase actually and that's because I started speaking it from day 1. So even if your vocabulary is still limited, I would advice you to listen a lot and speak a lot! You actually gave me an idea💡 for a future video! Thank youu😎

    Happy to say i knew 80 percent of these words! So far the hardest has been grammar or sentence structures. Eg: in english we can say i go to school at 4:00 pm. In mandarin you would say 4:00 pm i go to school. Hence it is very different than my native language as well (french). So have you acheive a level of fluency in 8 months ? Secondly how many hours a day where you atudying to achieve your current level?

      @@alessiadonzello wow inspiration! Can you share what has been your biggest frustration learning mandarin ? Was it making sentences as well ? For myself it wasn't so much the tones but the extra words I have to add in based on a situation....like if it's something temporary the sentences changes or you add an extra word, or if you want to say something like you compare something there's additional words. When talking about quantity for books that changes instead of yi-ge ...so those are mine....
