He definitely made things look great. I resisted the Mac however but I won an IPOD nano in a dance contest and I do love my IPOD. I listen to it sometimes when I'm painting. It's small and easy to use. I still love my PC however but then I'm more techy than most people.

The balance between how something looks and how it works is more important to some and less to others...I'm an incredibly visual person so it is very important to me.

Sometimes immediately after a death of a famous person there is lots of buzz and it fades out after a few weeks. I don't think that will be the case with Mr. Jobs. May he RIP.

I talked about him, Steve Jobs, this week too in my video! =) He FOR SURE made a mark....amazingly.

My husband works at Apple. So, I was not surprised but saddened that he didn't live a little longer. I have to say if we all could live at our creative best and do what we love until we die, the world would be even more miraculous than it is.

Steve Jobs legacy has become so apparent in the days following his death.His inspiring attitude and innovative genius is resonating across so many lines. I love how you speak to looking for that kind of balance within the world of music. I thin there is also something about how that technology (or music technique) would not have the same impact without the artistry of the work itself and the art would not be properly served without a high level of use-ability (or musical ability/technique.)

Jobs made things so simple and elegant, I only have an Ipod but i am sure I will one day move on to a Mac or even I pad. He was an incredible individual.

Love the idea of creating events in this collaborative way. I can only imagine the presence and growth of the synergy from all that good will. YOu are inspiring me to think about who I love to collaborate with for that kind of synergistic exchange!

Networking with others in complementary businesses is always a good idea. The list of businesses you mentioned are perfect for you. When you are self-employed it is really easy to grow stale both in ideas and clients w/o networking.

it's always an awesome idea to network with people in complementary fields, or fields that have a similar customer base - power partners, if you will. When you are self-employed your ideas can grow a bit stale if you don't get ideas from others.

Hey, I think I have one of those rainbow wigs in my Halloween box! If you circle me on G+ or Like my FB page you might have seen me in my "clown days." There are lots of good reasons to blog, but I have to admit that I just like it.

Yes, blogging and all social media is about authenticity in the public stream! Lots of good reasons to blog, but in my opinion, that is the most important one!

I am blogging pretty much for the same reasons as yourself. I am learning more about myself and which direction I am going with my blog and business, also learning how to connect with people... I am having fun with it... And am ever so grateful that I started! Great to meet you!
