This corvette was found in barn where it sat for over 38 years, it has its fair share of rust, dust, and crust, as well as a rodents nest or two. But I believe with a good amount of love and some elbow grease it can be brought back to its former glory.

The current recall for most n52 and n51 sulev engines, all of them are under recall for this pcv heater failure where it can stay on heating the vehicles pcv burn off valve until the intake catches on fire, the pcv heater turn on as soon as the vehicle is turned on and can be brutal during long warm up periods or in after long spirited drives…

One final note for anyone doing this retrofit, you will also need to transfer the two circular fiber optic cables located on the outermost right of the original plug, so the transfer from the original plug to the new plug connection which goes to the back of the radio, the new plug has the opening for the insertion of those cables 😅 this will help prevent feedback in the speakers themselves

@@lucastheman02the big square plug in the video, has four circular connectors in the bottom right corner, two of which are occupied by the fiber optic cables that you need to depin and repin onto the new connection that will mate to the back of the radio
I've heard of returning cores but this is getting out of hand 😂
