eBay has a bunch of HX4 crimpers. For RG400 and BNC connector shown in the video, you need the Y205P die.

Any one has a link on how to adjust this tool for RG400? I got one , but is not working as the shield is gone. Tested with the back sliding to each stop, and also followed as used here, but no luck. Thanks.

What is the hex die size for the RG400 BNC back shell? It looks like you had a die set that was placed into the tool.

.213 for the shield and .068 for the center pin.

Good video and nice tools. The dielectric in RG-400 is PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene, or Teflon). Older RG-58 used polyethylene as the dielectric.

Typical cheap CHINESIUM type, They all pretty much work the same. EXCELLENT! We get 50+ “strips” per stripper tool before the blades begin to dull. (using RG-400 or RG-142 - heavy Teflon outer jacket & dielectric) They will still work for another 50+ “strips” on RG-58 or equivalent. Then ... toss it out and buy another. (They are Cheap as shit!!! We pay $11@ including blades // we still pay MORE than that just for “blade cartridge packs” for our “high-end strippers like xcelite etc..) For our mil.spec jobs, I’ll still reach for the xcelite or Amp branded tools, but these are a very close runner up)
