Even though the master emerald and chaos emeralds were introduced in this movie, i didn't think they would include Super Sonic. It wasn't till the final act, when sonic was battered and beaten, that i started to realize that Super Sonic was a possibility. Sonic 2 was great simply for bringing so much of the lore from the games. And also streamlining it
