The phantom menace is my favorite of the Star Wars movies.

Hard to believe there's guys manually releasing the valves on the c 02, like they couldn't have built a valve where they could just press a button that's so crazy
The one part that linked the prequel trilogy to the original trilogy for me wasn’t realised until Rogue One and that was the start of the chase we see the end of at the beginning of A New Hope. That for me was something I’d thought about since 1977 when i watched the original movie as an eight year old kid,I’m so thankful i was finally able to see that.
I’m only at the twelve minute mark and i can not believe what i just heard.. making waves digitally was way more expensive than making them practical but then i realised I’m watching this through 2025 eyes. At first i was like, it’s just guys sitting in front of a computer screen not thinking of how much the technology would have cost back then compared to wood, steel, water and paint. We all agree that practical effects are the best even though nowadays there’s technology like the giant screen they use that has every world imaginable programmed into it as well as water looks the best when it’s real

i find it so crazy the think "timeline wise" ind the final shot where vaders stand next to palpatine. How its only a couple of days (maybe less) where he stood on that big droid ship and killed count dooku.
They tried hard. Shame the movie was terrible.

the best moment :D 1:40:42
Loved these films when I was little, related so much to Anakin. Viewed them again later in life and was disappointed by a lot of aspects of the filmmaking. Watched them again this week and fell in love all over. Lucas' creative vision and tragic story for this trilogy outshines all the lesser gripes one might have with the individual films and really make them great. I'm so thankful that they exist and for all the hard work and love poured into its production.
I can’t believe Revenge of the Sith is a 20 year old film!
Seppo crap!
Insane how the lightsabers look better here than they do now.
Anakin doesn't kill Obi-Wan.
2:48 Anakin explaining why he doesn't like sand
Selling the IP to Disney was such a mistake. George had a vision with Star Wars that was creative, nuanced and even inspired by literature. You can clearly see in this documentary he had a lot of love and passion for what he was making. But something critical was lost when he handed the rights to Disney. Now it seems like Star Wars has become a soulless medium to make money, sell woke ideology and tell bland girl-boss stories.
Never could understand the success of SW and similar fiction movies among adults. Put a lobster head over a human body, etc.
imagine being the man that gets his own lightsaber AND style. Samuel Jackson just his own main character lol

attack of the clones is so underrated. loved this!
Half those people there (if not more) have no need to even be there 😂 if everyone else just actually did there job! Such a huge waste of money
We got very ambitious with the amount of toys! ah,I mean vehicles and characters we included in this movie!!
you ever notice padmes black dinner outfit looks like anakins robotic arm choking her in episode III hmmmmmm
The biggest mistake he made was casting Hayden Christensen as Anakin
Hayden wasn't in Menace duh 😅 But yeah 40 year old Mel Gibson would've been a better choice for a 9 year old Anakin Skywalker
35:39 bro he stole pee-wee's bike...

Lucas: Good morning, Katie Katie: (annoyed) Morning, Dad 😂😂😂 Doesn’t matter if he’s George MFing Lucas. He’s just Dad to Katie.

the amount of cut content from this movie is criminal
Seeing how great this process was makes me really sad at what Disney has robbed us of. All the great stories we should’ve gotten instead of the trash Disney throws around.
8:05 this is the way
C'était avant Disney. Ici, le moindre détail avait son importance. ❤ 20 ans !
George Lucas is built good.
So many geeks. Disgusting.
Really reminds me of the old clone wars show with all of their music less/dialogues free sequences
