I don’t like this SONG

I still need a good several sit-down listens to this album. haven't got there yet. Initially I was meh.... with this album, but usually when that happens for me with music after, after that then things open up......we'll shall see, but I bet I'm not disappointed, it is Band-Maid.

One of my favorites from the album. I love the main Kanami riff, has such a good melancholic vibe. Saiki's vocals were also excellent. She actually wrote the lyrics for this song.

When I first heard this song and that one part came in I was like WTF!..... is that a Polka they just broke into?? LOL! Japanese Polka..there's a first.

Did you say "Bombastic"? I would agree, and it's a term that is rarely used outside of metal bands, Rush being a notable exception. Great reaction. Akane visited a bakery before the video shoot and bought all the rolls. MISA (bass) may be shy but she knows how to drive a song. When they shot this is was a very cold day in Jan. and everyone was freezing and welcomed the fire.

Both this and 'Shambles' are anime theme song commissions.

Quite a few songs on this album were, for me, second third and fourth listens, then they kicked in. I feel that proves the writing is getting more intricate, which is a good thing.

Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘 Thx, Nicky!

Great reaction and this is the opening song for the new anime "Zenshu" (it's in the second episode). The lyrics match the anime's story line pretty closely. Thanks for continuing to react to Band-Maid.

The new single "zen" sounds a lot like Hibana.

I'm not into swimming so maybe that's why I'm not really into a song about swimming. However--the Maids always give it their best. Nicky, I wouldn't give up on all acoustic versions. The Puzzle acoustic with just Kanami and Saiki hits me in the feels every time. At least try that one . . .

Here's the Live at Shibuya Eggman version. At the live shows the crowds erupt when Miku holds that four measure note. Eggman is a tiny venue they use to play when they first got started and went back for a LIVE PPV show, it was a lot of fun to watch.
