Wow, Melissa, thank you so much. Your comment has made my day. Perhaps this latest performance by Sam and Cait will be recognized by next year's "award givers." But don't hold your breath. Outlander doesn't quite "fit" the narrative of most of these awards. Sam and Cait have always been amazing as Jamie and Claire, but Episode 715 was just incredible. All of the fans know it. It seems there are too many "boxes" a show or series must check before it is recognized. I don't watch any of the award shows any more because of it. Thank you for watching and commenting!! ❤❤❤

In the book, "Written In My Own Heart's Blood", by Diana Gabaldon, Young Ian was fighting with a group of Indians from a rival tribe. They almost killed Ian. In this episode, the Indians were replaced by the Germans. However, the threat the German made to Ian, "You'll regret letting me live, Mohawk," triggered Ian, so he hunted him and killed him. Remember Mr. Bug made a similar threat. I don't want to spoil the story for you, but most of your wishes come true! ❤❤❤
