This one, Golden Axe Revenge of Death Adder, Violent Storm, Zero Team 2000 and Sengoku 2 will always be my top. Love this game but in my opinion theres no better beat em up than Violent Storm, even the modern ones including SOR4 pale in comparison. Can you one day talk about the SpikeOut series from sega? Probably thats how the new 3d streets of rage will play.

Apart from the U.S. and Japan versions, the European version is also included. If I remember this right, that version keeps the numeric lifebar from the U.S. but removes the boss rush in stage 5.

This is so amazing. If they make another great effort like this with Violent Storm that will be great. Do NOT remake this. Don't. Night Slashers is a game that only by looking at how they butchered it, I and many like me, will never buy that.

Thanks a lot Ricardo👍. Metamorphic Force is fantastic Beat’Em Up, in my most favourite, arcade style. Sad, that there are still no sequel, or at least remake, of this wonderful game. Why devs, of recently released remake of Night Slashers, didn’t choose this project, for remaking? They are both from 1993, by the way and both from arcade machines. But Metamorphic Force much more deserving of a rework, in my humble opinion.

Haven't played this, but I've been interested in it since I first found out about it due to it's developer and because it looked like a better Altered Beast. Though I did not know it was about as easy as Turtles in Time, and the character variety being smaller when the fighters turn into their animal forms is a let-down. Still, I figure I can pay the 8 bucks even if it's a short one just to see what it's finally like, even though I think it's a little funny that it's the second beat-em-up games where Greek gods can give out Animorph powers for no explained reason. I guess the Japanese creators read those myths of Greek gods transforming unlucky people into whatever they wanted and figured letting warriors turn into buff bear-men made sense.

Got plenty of the hamster games on sale, the beat em ups are rare but this is by far the most arcade I've seen, makes me wonder what will be next? Perhaps xmen?

cool game but poor move set, just like the Ninja Turtle games and Xmen this is another "One And Done" from Konami, wish it had at least as many moves as Violent Storm (heavy attack by pressing Up + Attack, or Dash/Slide by pressing down + Jump) and I hope Viloent Storm gets a Hamster Arcade Archive port

Never heard of this game before, graphics and OST are amazing!

I’ll get it, love filling out my library with classic beat em ups. Disappointed about the difficulty, but oh well, an easy 1cc is a fine enough notch on the belt.

Will be picking this up tommorow. Can't wait for Violent Storm and hope someday they give us X-men and other licenced Ips for a slightly higher price.

It's a good one, but not as good as violent storm and vendetta

I will definitely be picking this one up on both Switch and ps5 to show support. This isn't one of those games i grew up playing but when i discovered it on mame years ago it became a firm favourite of mine. I've been hoping this would get the archive treatment. Now all that's left from the non licensed titles is Violent Storm. Hopefully that gets released soon.

I love this one, the ost and the graphics. And it's fun to just replay it from time to time.

Thanks “the flying kick” for this review. That game seems like an old school bit ‘em up. I loved them when I was younger. I love when the artwork is from an indie dev or solo dev and not from an big company. It brings back memories. I can’t w8 to enjoy this game. Do you know when it is going to be available?

A very simplistic-looking game that focuses more on humor judging from how there's only one combo and more effort is put on making wacky enemies with different behaviors. Seems fun enough for an amateur game- hopefully things like getting hurt coming straight out of cutscenes can be polished and removed in the complete version. Also, is there only one playable character? The game is singleplayer only, I presume?

Liking what I see so far, even if there's jank there's still a sense of "b-movie" to it that brings it a little higher and makes it a little easier to accept the jank. I only played on of the Brawl Brothers game on NSO, feel like I gotta get some more of them down now that a sequel is coming just so I can see if the gameplay is evolving and so on.

It looks a bit rough around the edges but what the heck, its heart is in the right place... Looking forward to try it
