Yeah, I only wore them a hand full of times. Then after Kobe passed away I stopped wearing them. I’ll probably post a short soon that contains close up shots. I could not find my B roll when I made this video.

For me, adding an everdrive to the Analogue pocket defeats the purpose of the console. If you're looking to play all games why not just get a cheaper Anbernic device?
I purchased an Ever Drive GBA because I also own multiple original GBA consoles. You know what’s better than playing every game on an emulator? Playing every game on original hardware.

The Analogue Pocket is still emulation, you can't say that it isn't. Instead of emulating the games, you emulate the hardware. Most software emulators use tricks to get some games to run. As long as the FPGA core for the system got it right, the core can run any game w/o the need for tricks for specific games. There is a very good video on YT but I can't remember who made it. It goes over why FPGA hardware emulation can do what it can do better than software emulators. Big takeaway is that your PC, or what ever device's CPU/GPU runs at a specific MHz/GHz. Real hardware had different chips running at different speeds. FPGA has the ability to adjust the speed of individual emulated hardware components. A PC running at 4GHz, runs the emulator at 4GHz. Software emulators have to compensate for that.
Yes, I am aware that the Analogue uses hardware emulation. I simplified the explanation in the attempted to make the video more accessible to a wider demographic. Regardless I think the message was clear FPGA emulation is superior to software emulation.

@@ELOSCHAZ Yes, when I purchase a retro console I ignore software emulation solutions. I am aware that software emulation is constantly improving and it may in fact already be at or near the level of the original hardware.
Native hardware has a different feel for it. The new models of a 3ds even have native snes support and it shows with how smooth it is. 3ds also has native gba and ds which is crazy to have so much native support. I love emulation but native hardware has its advantages.

I got an Ever Drive because I can also use it on my GameCube Gameboy Advance player, original Gameboy Advance & GBA SP.
Once I got the AP and dock and 8bitdo 2.4ghz SNES controllers, I have no need for the GBA Players (silver and orange mounted on console of the same color). Sure, the AP docked will just always look better than the GC but you can't connect use the link port on the AP while docked like you can with GBA Player. If your GBA games are on a flash cart, then you still have the features the GameCube/GBA Player. I use EZ-Flash carts as they are cheaper, both their Omega DE (GBA) and Junior (GB/GBC).
You could just use the cores from OpenFPGA, there is no need for everdrives with the pocket.
