    I just picked up a JD 7200 12 row liquid finger pickup. I plan to run it off my EZ-Guide 250 also. But I’ll be using the Deere 350 monitor. Where did you get cords to patch the 250 into your monitor ?? Would I go thru EZ-Guide Or JD ?? I need the extension cords for the monitor and fold box also but Deere wante $1200 for the pair. Can’t afford that. But don’t really want to splice them either. Any thoughts ?? Thanks. I’m in SO Central Mi. & good idea adding a few more clutches. Mine only has one to split in half.

    Not to many stalks root balls in spring?

    • @jfarms22
      @jfarms22 7 років тому

      Anthony Kramer no it rips them up pretty well and they're broken down by spring. Cultivator runs right through them

  • @kran0504
    @kran0504 7 років тому

    How do you turn it up? Do you stalk chop first? We are thinking of getting a 527.

    • @jfarms22
      @jfarms22 7 років тому

      Anthony Kramer all we do is jump straight into standing stalks in the fall. We have stalk stompers on all rows on the corn head and it works up really well

    nice truck I have an extra cab. did you notice any power gains? did you have to do any pressure ajustment?

    • @jfarms22
      @jfarms22 7 років тому

      grin and bear it - no pressure adjustments, pretty much plug and play as far as that goes. Not sure that I really noticed any power gains but it seems to run a bit smoother and it definitely won't run out of fuel. I had some issues prior to the lift pump where the cp3 couldn't keep up at max rpm

    • @grin64
      @grin64 7 років тому

      jfarms22 thanks for the answer. did you put a tune on the truck?

    • @jfarms22
      @jfarms22 7 років тому

      grin and bear it - no prob, it has EFI live by calibrated power/duramax tuner with the DSP5 switch

    Nice lookin truck. I have the gas version in a '01 and extended cab.(same color too) And 352,000 mi. Going to a Duramax & Alison like yours this fall or next spring. Haven't heard about this upgrade. Whats the advantage??

    • @jfarms22
      @jfarms22 7 років тому

      Ski's Place the duramax' don't have a factory lift pump so the CP3 pump just uses vacuum to pull fuel to the engine. The lift pump puts positive pressure on that CP3 pump and eliminates any possibility of air in the fuel lines and the pump doesn't have to work as hard. The FASS pump also gives you another fuel filter and a water separator. The lb7 injectors especially like clean fuel

    Nice rig. Im getting a 7200 NT front fold this fall. Want to combine my EZ Guide 250 with it. Is that what your doing.?? I believe it has a JD 300 or 350 monitor.

    • @jfarms22
      @jfarms22 7 років тому

      Ski's Place yes the 250 is combined and running the 20/20 & iPad in place of the compu trak monitor, works really well. The 250 wiring harness is pretty bulky though, the 500 harness I have in the other tractor is much more streamlined and nicer overall

    • @Stickboat7575
      @Stickboat7575 7 років тому

      jfarms22 ok. I haven't got my Planter home yet but it's a center fold and the markers fold down over the top of the planter. Haven't seen any others with that type marker. Your outside 3 fold around forward correct.

    • @jfarms22
      @jfarms22 7 років тому

      Ski's Place that's correct, mine would be considered a wing fold. It would be nice if they would have put different markers on the wing folds similar to what yours has or the 1760's although they're a big improvement over the older 7000's

    is there ANY way to get a GOOD explanation to make the turn signals on the new style mirrors double as running lights. i want to do that mod VERY badly but electrical work tends to confuse me a little. any suggestions?

    • @jfarms22
      @jfarms22 7 років тому

      Parker Forcke it's a pain, took me a full day to tear everything apart and figure out the wiring/run new wires to the mirrors. Once you get everything torn apart it's fairly simple, it's the disassembly & reassembly that is so time consuming

    • @jfarms22
