Who buys salvaged title cars?

Nah I flip cars on Copart. It’s way harder than you made it out to be. Most states don’t let you bid unless you have a broker bid for you/ have a type of dealer license or unless you live in or near an open state which there are few of and the purchase fees are absolutely ridiculous for us. Plus in order to get a usable title because a salvage title is worthless you need a rebuilders license or know of a rebuilder to get a rebuilt title. Also want to mention the insane amount of competition there is for every single car worth flipping I can pretty much guarantee you won’t get anything less then 2k for a car. I try to sell cars around the 6-9k mark because that is realistic for the average person to pay anything above that just gets harder plus you have a rebuilt title looming over it which makes it even harder to sell a more expensive vehicle. I want to throw in a real example I won a totaled 2012 ford fusion sel 60k miles for 2300 by the time I got the car home I paid roughly 3100 because of the fees. That’s without delivery before title work AND repairs. Luckily the damage is not ridiculous and I can repair it myself because I have a shop and a rebuilders license.

You can only sell 4 cars a year (In Texas, Average state is 5 cars) without a Independent (GDN) License btw.

As someone who’s family does this for a living this is super unrealistic and doesn’t show how much time you have to spend looking for a good deal and the amount of headache that goes with this. and insurance companies have been the worst for us to sell and too many people do this and prices have gone up too much in copart/iaa

If you are going to paint the rims don’t be afraid to go in with some paint stripper while sanding. It helps break the layers down faster

Thanks for your detailed video! Unfortunately, I couldn't find Adhesion Promoter, however, I did use Rustoleum Primer/ Paint combo (NOT the ideal situation, but...) and Clear Coat. My new bumper turned out almost perfect! Thanks again!

You don’t have to remove the bumper to get the grill out just take the top rad cover off and you can easily reach the nuts

did you clean off the soap? why not just rinse it down with water after the soap and and then dry it. using a soapy rag and dry it feels kinda ineffective. id do soap cleaning, rinsing, degreaser and last a tacrag(not 100% what its called, but the sticky rag) and then adhesion promoter.

How you doing that without a dealers license? You can only put around 5 in your name per year

Quick question, people who by your cars do they have to get the car inspected by the state before they can receive a rebuilt title?

The only problem with this is that it's a felony in all 50 states, unless you're a licensed dealer or you register the vehicle in your name before selling it. Look up "jumped title" also known as "floating title".

Post one photo of 3/4 of one side. Put 100k miles even if it has 188k. Then for the price put 1234.
