Stress is already so punishing by design in Alien RPG, so it is hard to watch everyone adding double stress to panic rolls. And rolling ranged combat then weapons is two attack rolls (just one with fewer dice than it should have). So they basically had disadvantage on attacks (plus bane for -1d4 on their first roll) if you want to think of it in D&D terms. They were really tying their hands behind their backs for this one shot. At least it wasn't Heart of Darkness, or they'd have died of stress in the first act.

The Dragonborn Monk pisses me off with his inability to read his character sheet on other people's turns.

Obviously, you guys realized this by now, but a panic roll is d6 + panic level. So, you can't be 8 +4. Your VTT is doing the full panic roll. You didn't need to add anything. Great job though!

Alien RPG is fun and well designed but the panic check does not negate success automatically, unless you fail the panic roll etc... you can be forced to roll a panic check and still succeed. All in all it was a fun one shot to watch. great job and I look forward to seeing more.

Hey, at least it's space's problem now. Although that has set up a future arc where the civilisation the megapede lands on comes hunting for the party.

I have been thinking of running this module for my group to see if they would like something besides d&d, and the reason I clicked this one was because You guys have a freaking awesome name. Subbed cause idk if it's just be being American, but the fuckery is like 10 times better with all the colloquialisms and accents lol. Also WELL DONE GM! (Being one myself I know it's a labor of love and people barely acknowledge the work we do) you did an amazing job bringing the story to life and an even more impressive one hearding the cats that are you players!

This was fun. Got here from The Sequelisers after Jack mentioned being on. (also Molo is a Finnish slang term for a dick. So is the word muna or egg. So couldn't stop giggling because I'm a juvenile manchild, apparently.)

I genuinely hate being that guy, but since everybody is eager to learn, I gotta leave those two things here: The Motion Tracker. When you do a Power Supply roll, it is only done for the sole purpose of checking, how much battery power it loses. The item itself still does what it´s supposed to do. In this case, doing the beep bloop beep thing, telling the player whats moving. On the topic of Panic Rolls: When you roll a 1 on a stress dice, it does not automatically mean that the roll itself is a fail. Only when the Panic Roll result is a 10 or above, does the attempted action actually fail. Otherwise, the rolled 1 only means, that you are unable to push the roll, i.e. rolling it again to gain more successes. Apart from that, feeling the vibes. Great comedy :D

Nice actual.. love the rp / voices... note on motion trackers../ torches etc.. you don't need to succeed to use.. only roll a power roll when it is used.. kinda a shame the montero didn't follow its due course.. always a "huh?" Moment..

Ay just wanted to say; this is the first actual play of yours I've listen too and I loved it. This ep was also a big help as I'm learning the system and want to run chariots for my group. Cheers 👍

Very entertaining. Been a long while since I played 5e, been swayed over to pathfinder 2e, but from the top of my head: Charm person ain't really a (group) combat spell, in combat all it does, more or less, is prevent the charmed person from harming the caster. It doesn't change the charmed person's disposition towards the rest of the party or it's former friends and allies. Stinking Cloud: Those that fails their saving throws only lose their action, they still got their bonus action and more importantly their move so they can move out of the cloud. Nevertheless a major laugh. Especially the (what I guess is a negative charisma modifier) demon breaking out on the first turn and the price for curiosity about how the mind flayer would react to one of them "dying" when he wanted them alive.😆
