How's the car doing? Haven't seen you post much lately
Life and work has been wild! I have videos in my back log I need to finish editing! Will be posting more shorts as it’s much easier. She’s running great! Thank you for asking! Have some maintenance items to do soon….
How is the engine holding up at these kilometers? I'm referring to the cylinders.
Hi do u install the tactrix? It comes with cd right?
how to do this on a 2019 C300, doesn't have a dipstick.
I got m273 e550 what exhaust should I do for it I want it to sound mean, right now I just deleted my mufflers
An NA V8 will always sound mean. Start by removing mufflers first and leave everything else stock. Resonators are important on non turbo cars as drone can become an issue first. Remove the mufflers, keep them and see how you like it.
@@mrapter7 i been deleted my mufflers, i still feel like its quiet on the low rpms/speed
Not worth it, at least the agility mode in 350cdi doesn't do anything 😢
Yes, not ideal for a diesel

Glad I found this channel. I am currently trying to save and bulletproof my 2014 e550 stage 1 weistec
Would this oil filter fit a 2012 e350
Yes, it will. It is on the same 229.5 sheet! Great oil!
Hi, ist die stoßstange vorn amg oder avangarde?
Hey Luke, great video, congratulations. Do you know if works for w204? Due to low battery issues during a flash, the car is now in the anti-theft mode and won't start. Do you believe that it is possible to use the same hardware/software you're using to clean such errors, and get out of anti-theft mode? For reflashing, I have Mpvi 3, but is not working under the anti-theft mode.
Yes! The 204 and 212 as well as other similar year Mercedes all will work. I believe all the way back to w211 will work as well, any older and you need a multiplexer to communicate with the car. 204 and 212 are very similar in the underlying tech. Grab an Openport in the link and find a Xentry install or I can recommend a guy who offers installs
Never buy a Mercedes from a private owner unless the Mercedes was a product of divorce or death. Go and get your Mercedes from Carmax. Second, get the E350 with the M276 engine. I will stay away from those with the M272/273. I will stay away from the air suspension too.
Very strange comment. M276 has all the same issues and characteristics of the m278 while the m272 and m273 are port injected and routinely last over 200k with any major maintenance. Tune ups, fluids, that’s it. The 276 was the first gen v6 DI engine and it has issues, which are compounded in the turbo v8 variants which use the same engineering. You should steer clear of 276/278 motors but be on the lookout for a 272 or 273 as those are incredibly robust engines.
@@mrapter7 You know little of what you are talking about. You are here to either make noise or to deceive others. That you even compared the reliability of the M276 to a M278 shows how flawed your reasoning is. M278 problems are comparable to the problems of the M157. Unless the M276 was abused either in the 3.0 and 3.5 liter versions, they will not require you to take apart the camshaft or cam phasers the way you will have to do at some point with the M278 or the M157. That you focused on port injection for M272/273 shows you have no idea what you are talking about. M272/M273 have balance shaft issues on specific VIN numbers. Earlier versions of the M272 which had the W202 carry over Kompressor super charge engines, did not have issues. It was the facelift versions of the 272/273 in the W203 which had the 2,5 liter V6 and 3.5 liter V6 that had the balance shaft and for some, intake issues. M276 does not have a balance shaft and its intake is solid and vastly different intake from the 272/273. If the M276 had the same characteristics as the M278, Mercedes would have used it in more cars. M276 was very different which is why Mercedes used it in many many cars since 2009 up until 2017. M276 spanned the W204 and W212 body style and into W205. Your W205 C43 AMG from 2017 - 2023 uses the 3.0 liter version of the M276 which is turboed.
I’m looking into a 2015 e550 what you think?
Could be a lot worse, although not that much better haha You still have the cylinder scoring to potentially worry about at high miles but cam adjusters and timing components should be upgraded

What the hell is wrong with your music…..
Please detail me
I have a 2010 E350 & while watching this video I can completely understand where your coming from when it comes to the drive shaft. Mine broke of and with that, it broke a whole on the side of my transmission. Had to get another transmission a used one plus the drive shaft. Cost of, 2,865 brotha and still have another issues to go like the Rattling sound of the engine when turning it on. I love the car but dam, this car is really expensive to fix those issues. It is what it is, you just have to deal with them on time or like I intend to do from here & on. Every 6 month to a year, all areas will be inspected.
So when it comes to the 2010 e350 - they don’t have cam adjuster issues and they don’t have tensioner issues really (all engines have these things and CAN fail, just not known for it) The m272 is really reliable long term. Not sure what rattling you’re talking about unfortunately - maybe I can help on IG? @KoreanSeats That being said - yeah whether it’s a 350 or a 550 or a 63 the driveshafts all go. Usually 130-150k. Realistically, you can get one from FCP with a lifetime warranty with install for about $1k from a trusted shop. Typically they start to moan and make noise at certain speeds when they’re on their way out. First one failed at low speeds and clunked like crazy - second one had the same hum but I caught it. Since I put a used one in, it failed fairly soon. Third time I went all new FCP and it’s been great. Depending on miles - you really shouldn’t have any other issues. Not talking wear and tear stuff like bushings, bearings and suspension, engine accessories etc as those always go at some point.
Looking to start my e550 build does anyone know any good resources( this channel too ofc) also wheel plug?
Yes! Please join the w212 group on Facebook! Can’t miss it it’s got like 175k members. Admin is amazing and can help with tons - the community here is mature and fantastic. Love those rims man! Beautiful W212
Thanks dude! Appreciate it!
Your w212 looks great I have e350 sport. I live in ny the roads suck. I wanted to know what was the tire setup that you ended up with ? THANKS !
19x9.5 rear id go 285/30 and 19x8.5 front id go 255/35 This is the largest you can go with non AMG cars and therefore the largest sidewall on a 19” wheel
Plan on getting one within the month. I will need this information.
LOL...Yes when you have Xentry this is ok. But oh man. ...This is soo... Yes you got your cklicks.

with your experience..the v8 without turbo are better to buy?? less costs envolved?
Yes. M273 is a treat to own and maintain
E250CDI 4matic wagon with rear air suspension here. I'd love to know more about my car, but alas...
Well, aside from the specifics of your engine it’s all the same! Haha
Did it come V8 or you put that engine in there ?
Haha it’s a 550 it came with one!
@ 🔥 can’t go wrong with that
@christiansampson452 this engine you certainly can and I have- check the rest of my channel haha
And the W212 is supposed to be the most reliable E series class!!!! I would hate to see the problems with the worst chassis series.
Hmmm it’s really an engine reliability issue. I didn’t mention any other real major issues (subframe covered, and is still a fixable issue, all brands have air suspension issues etc) the chassis is solid. At 160k miles the biggest chassis issue I have? Wheel bearings. And that’s kinda predictable with this many miles with a heavy engine. Front end suspension worn out and needs to be refreshed. This in a normal m272 v6 e350 easily goes 200k without much fuss. Diesels are regularly hitting 500k - see them all the time in our group! Choose a good engine and this platform will love you
Where can I get the software to do coding?
DM me on instagram I’ll point you in the right direction! @KoreanSeats
Is that the M276?
No, it’s m278. This is a similar issue the 276 has as well

What's with the quad fog lights on the 2010 models? I like the ones you have better!
Styling changed over the years! First gen typically had the yellow halogen circles, then the hockey stick LEDs, then these straight lines across the

I've got a 2012 e550 coupe can you do the same
I can get you connected and hooked up. DM on IG @Koreanseats
Ok but how do I unlock these features?
I had a guy do it. Some things are simpler than others, but a lot of this requires very intricate knowledge of the coding in these vehicles. Not something I would try, even as a serial tinkerer. DM me on Instagram @KoreanSeats and I can point you in the right direction either way

I like your review. Very hones! Very bad car
I hated every second.
Hey @mrapter7 Sounds beautiful. I just got 2015 E550, do you think any downsides us doing this for the engine or it should be fine.
Doing what? Straight pipe? Straight pipe if anything helps a turbo engine. Doesn’t need back pressure, it needs airflow
USA??? USA didn't have E550's in 2015.
Canada does. Also grey market imports
@@mrapter7 Got it!
I agree with the coupe look comments.
