note: I haven't seen a working quest or encountered enemies so far, from what I know, it hasn't been implemented yet. I'd love SE if they could re-release legacy, I'd probably even pay for it tbh.

this looks like if someone tried to recreate Limsa from memory. It's extremely eerie
The walking animations look so much nicer than the current ones, but I understand they had to dial them back for 2.0 because it was just too CPU/GPU intensive to render multiple characters with such advanced animations.
I really like the animations of everything, I kinda lied when I said I haven't seen any enemies, I encountered one that was bugged, it had unlimited health but it let me see the combat, the camera positioning and how impactful everything felt was much better than what we have now. Wish they could have a toggle for animations in 2.0+, especially with how powerful computers are now.
@@IPlayIntoGames also remember 1.0 was on PS3 while ARR came out for PS4.
@@henryhunter9643 Because PS4 was out, but ARR was built to support PS3 and PS4. Wasn't like ARR was a native PS4 game but more of a port. They stopped PS3 support with Stormblood.
From memory I think the decision for this was due to combat. The current version of combat is a lot snappier and it just wouldn't work with the old animations. With the races that existed during 1.0 you can actually see where the old animation gets cut off (most noticeable in lalafels)

@@levontriz tti that song isn't near their skill level. it's like trying to play ghost on exper when you can't beat breezer on hard. it's not challenging themselves, instead it is doing some stupid shit.
@@bustip You can't progress without going above your skill level, personally (and I get this isn't for everyone) I went right from around normal to expert+ without playing hard or expert. Even with your argument of not jumping right to hard level that aren't in your skill level if he is having fun it shouldn't matter.
