These are Rhinegold Elite Vermont Waterproof Leather Country Boots. But like so many companies who make these boots they started off as unisex doing sizes right up to a man's UK 12 but then stopped I think now you can only get them up to UK ladies' size 8. I suppose they did not sell many to men, so hence just stopped the larger sizes. They are lovely boots and were quite cheap as Country boots go. I have had these for a good few years now. No I only paid £76 for these boots which was more than enough since they only lasted me 10 months with very light use! But there you go. Oh, yes Hunter boots are very good and can be very stylish these days and can be worn in many situations from city to to town to countryside greatr boots for sure enjoy yours thanks. Kev.

I have been riding for 24 years now, and I find riding gear both comfortable and fashionable. In the last years I have worn tall boots all winter, even when I don't go to the stables, paired with skinny trousers tucked into them. Many people stare at me. Girls and people over 30 don't seem to mind much, but boys, specially teenagers, sometimes do the snarky remark such as "where did you leave your horse?". Of course, I ignore them. And pity them, too - they are the same ones who don't want to hear anything more than reaggeton. They don't know what they are missing in life, and possibly they never will.

Oh, thanks what a super reply! So lovely to hear you ride horses. I did as a child and still do from time to time sadly its got so expensive going to a loacl riding school these days! So I can't affodr to go really now I so agree with all you say . Like yourself or being even older I have got to the age so what if people think or want to call me gay or whatever for wearing what I like when I want that no longer worries me whatsover for what I wear. I do love women and being around them but to be honest I don't think I could live my life with a women now as I have been on my own to long! Lucky you being round horses wearing horse gear and boots and seeing lot of women dressed like this what a dream job! @@luisescaja Yep I find its often men that give these kind of rude snide remaks I have had many positive compliments from women when out in taller boots but like you say often the more youger guys that feel they need to be macho and make these kind of remarks. ​@@luisescajaYoung people who make comments about tall boots are probably wearing all the same kind of sneakers, all the same brand of shoes, all the same kind of gym socks of the same lenght over the ankle... An advantage of being older is that you can take your own freedom from fashion's "rules". And I also think that men looking your tall boots would also like to wear them.

​@@alizarincrimson306 Every one wear the same sneakers, the same trousers, the same t-shirts. They listen to the same music. If they have their own car, they put in it the same blue lights. They think they are so cool and original. But in fact, they are all being the same. So sad. When I was their age, in the late 80s-early 90s, there were "urban tribes", which listened to different music, dressed differently, had fun in different ways. We learned to respect each other. I was a "nerd". I didn't really fit into any of those groups and got my share of what is now called bullying. But I ended having friends from different sides. If a teenager is reading me, I'd tell they something. Wear sneakers and listen to reggaeton if you want to. But be open to other experiences, and be bold to try them if you fancy. Maybe you'll find interesting other musics, or other shoewear. Variety is the spice of life.

Many thanks for your so kind comment I hope you enjoy these boots when you get yours they are happy fun boots even a bit of a sexy boot look I feel! And just such a great fashion boot look for guys. Yep, you look at the view numbers and I should have packed this channel up ages ago as the views are such a low rate! You see so many channels where old guys just rant on about politics or modern life and the state of affairs and they get hundreds of thousands of views. But I don't want to go there. UA-cam is always talking about creating a niche channel but then they don't support you and you are just left in the wilderness I don't think they even send out recommendations anymore to this channel sadly. Hi this is quite an old video now and this have long been sold out from where I brought mine these were a size UK mens size 9 they had them at this bagain sale price in limited mens sizes. I would maybe alwasy go up a size in boots But that is a very personal thing I have boots ranging from a UK Men's size 8 to a UK men's size 10 and they all fit me fine like all shoes and boots size do vary! For starters, these are not loafers but vintage boots! For the record, I am not in the slightest bit gay myself but I do have some wonderful gay friends! And love everyone in this great world of ours. So these kinds of comments are not really welcome here. I suppose they are meant as a joke but sorry in my view it's in poor taste however I wish every one well that leaves me a comment I have no ill feeling or malice and the comment will be left. Why Not? Men should feel able to wear just what they like in this day and age they might not be your thing OK, I understand that but of course they don't make a man less of a man going back in history it was men who wore the tights tights and women never did! Its only are modern conceptions of fashion and when a guy steps out of the norm these days he gets called all sorts which is crazy! I am very much a man and proud of it. And just tight bits of cloth on my legs does not make me a less of a man than the next! Its just your conception of what men should wear. R.

I have even also brought some of their women's boots as they do some in bigger sizes and many of the female range look very macho these days. Thanks Dennis what a most interesting reply so many thanks. I do in fact from time to time ride horses so do have some Jods and breeches. But still like my sport leggings/run tights as in this video. here in the UK I feel in a town or city you would get some very odd looks in Horse riding gear and boots as opposed to some tight / run sports leggings! But as men we should be free to wear whatever we like to day with no fear or injustices or prejudice. And do remember going back in history right back to medieval time men wore tights back then and I sure no one laughed or said the male body was wrong for tights back then! I usually have the same problem with small sizes (I'm 39/40). It seems that in Italy manly sizes only start from 41, specially among the rare mens boots I can find... I have to buy womens sizes (if I'm lucky buying an unisex model, for example wellies or snow boots).

They had them in sizes up to 9 (43) . But when they came they were so small my foot was never going to fit in them so they went back. Well I kind of made the point of wearing these! These are really very sportif run tights that I would wear cycling / kayaking say. As I do say you do have to be careful not to embarrass yourself and others. And I would never want to do that. But as I say why should we guys not try other things. Leggings /run tights do feel so comfortable to wear . K.

@@BayRN1 Thanks, I was out doing some landscaping in my garden to day in my Mark Todd tall Country boots and some old run tights and a big old baggy jumper and my long boot kilt socks lovely and easy to bend and so much flex and movement. If they get wet they dry so quickly and once on and warmed up your legs feel so warm what's not to like! Like I say why should us men not wear them if we want to. Thanks for your super comments. K.

Yep, these came direct from Spain not sure where you are based but this company used to ship to most places but not sure now if they ship to UK any more after the brexit complications of sending items or ship worldwide any more. Yep, I brought these skinny years years ago they were in fact called men's Jeggings never seen them again anywhere they are super tight but great for boots. The socks are Kilt socks! I buy these from Scotland an are 100% Aran wool great with taller boots thanks for all you lovely comments kev.
