These and the chevy’s of this generation were the last good trucks

Personally i would put a 1 or 2 inch shackle in the back spring so it levels the truck. The back of these fords sag slightly, making it level stands out which seems to be what you are going for. Not raised in the back, just level, its very cheap. 50 to 100$ and makes a lot of difference.

People hate ehen other people make something interesting. Who knows why. If you like your vehicle this way it's your money ant time. Everyone has an opinion and the bad ones are typically heard more than the good. I applaud you for fixing up a truck. It's not exactly what I would do as a mechanic and body guy but it's not my truck or my money. Its an achievement to do something instead of just buying it, learning something and gaining experience along the way. Keep thinking for yourself is my advice. Good for you kid!
