Why I Switched BACK to a Gas Lawn Mower
I have been using all electric lawn equipment since 2016...until now. I had some issues with my battery powered equipment last season and I felt it was time for a bit more power. But I wanted something that was low maintenance and stored away like my battery equipment. What new mower did I choose?

My channel was suspended by UA-cam. Can't keep me down! I'm back using Ryobi! Are Ryobi battery powered snow blowers any good? Can they handle thick wet heavy snow? Can I shovel faster than using the snow blower, a.k.a. John Henry style? I answer these questions and a few more. Reel Mowing Time! And My Annual Physical 😩
Переглядів 1,4 тис.2 роки тому
Fall is here in the north and it's reel mowing time! You can reel mow anytime of the year, unfortunately I don't have in-ground sprinkling, therefore I only reel mow in spring and fall so my Perennial Ryegrass and Kentucky Bluegrass can handle it. I had my annual physical and it wasn't the best news. Gotta make some changes. The Uncomfortable Truth Podcast: ua-cam.com/channels/nC1GyWbkjJ4xrx8Pk...

Overgrown Lawn and Sidewalk Clean Up - Then This Happened
Переглядів 2,8 тис.2 роки тому
I knew there was a possible chance of rain, but this was ridiculous! It opened up on me and I still tried to finish even though I use 100% battery powered equipment. Mowing wet grass sucks, or does it? My friend has newborn twin boys in the NICU and called me for a price to do his lawn. With having to be at the hospital all the time the lawn has gotten a bit overgrown. I told him I would do it ...

Ryobi Battery Power -vs- Overgrown Lawn
Hey Mike, I haven't heard from you for a while. If you see this please let me know how you are! God bless you and your family, Kevin Barron
But how do you keep it crispy forever? And then in a few months you loose that edge and then make it bigger and bigger and bigggggggerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?
Looks fun. Cute. But i pay people for this job or i buy a new house.
tha's some good 'ole lawnmower porn right there. really amazed as the power this mower has
No one in the other videos I've watched on this has mentioned that there is a "L" and an "R" side to the line spool? If you take the thing apart, you may or may not know which side is "up". Why would you have to take it apart? Because the grass may turn into a fine dust and get under the "bumper" meaning when you "bump" it no line will be let out. Sometimes the line gets tangled inside the housing. MAKE SURE THE L SIDE IS UP! Your trimmer will spin "left" or "right". When using my echo, the housing spins clockwise (right). (That's why you have to turn it counterclockwise to take the head off.) NOTE: to check that things are working correctly, you can pull on the string until it locks. Then push down on the head and pull again. Here's the problem, you can do this and it will look like it is working no matter which side of the spool is "up" (L or R). Then when you start your trimmer things just won't work. So have the "L" up.
Good day! It's the day after Christmas but I'm already dreaming of springtime haha. I want to thank you for this video. I'm a single woman and my partner recently took off. I managed to keep the house and all the yards which is overwhelming. Your video really helped and your kind wisdom at the end was motivating and God driven. Thank you so much! All the best to you and your family❤
Perfect ❤
Starts off the video with religious propaganda. Religious people always trying to push their beliefs onto others. So sick of them I can’t not even watch the video knowing that the guy is superstitious and detached from reality.
I wish this worked with Bermuda
Looks real nice....and yes roots can be a major headache when renovating existing yard.
Did you get to the 225 by Jan
You know they sale pick up trucks now.
I reseeded this Fall and will use this instead of Step 4 to control weed and feed new grass. We are having higher than normal temps in the North East. I confirmed with Scotts it is ok to use this for Winter fertilization instead of Step 4. Thoughts of anyone who has done this? Thanks
Awesome video! Thanks!

Does anyone know what kind of wheelbarrow that is?
What about weeds taking root in the "trench"?
Hi sir, is it still the best lawn mower recommended by you? And you share more details as to how to attach the roller thank you
*Thanks nice work and hard work. I want live edge borders around my trees. **11:19** very therapeutic work also I appreciate you. Great advice*

From somebody who doesn’t have a dad, I really appreciate this video. Thank you for teaching me sir.
Gotta say that grass looks might clean and crisp. Lots of time and care invested there.
I just put in those edge things due to every rain here in Florida the mulch would be all over sidewalk or yard…. The plastic/ metal edge thing is keeping mulch and rocks all contained now… I’m not strong enough to do my lawn like yours due to MS and I can’t find a lawn service to do anything like this. They just place the mulch and bunch it up…. Very bad service here…. Wish I could do what you do….

I am just starting to learn how to plant and do landscape since buying my first house. Was never taught how to do it so I'm learning through youtube. It's hard work! Thanks for the encouragement.
I *literally* came here to see how to adjust the main wheels.
I thought you didn’t want gas?
I agree 100%. I just bought that mower and am loving it! My neighbors look funny at me when I use it, old fashioned I heard one say, but mine is the best looking lawn on the block, so let them talk.
it’s not made anything different
Just bought one.. WOW! Mounted instantly to my Craftsman 25cc powerhead.. I have never trimmed so good.. Balanced.. BUY ONE PEOPLE!!!
New subscriber here - thank you for your videos. Would you kindly list the equipment used in this video. I am taking on upkeep of my acre lawn due to some not so thorough lawn servicing companies. Already have the ryobi 40V lawn mower, 18v trimmer and blower, pole saw and 40 V hedge trimmer. I am looking at buying the 80V zero turn 42in mower for the vacant land. Currently grass is calf height and feel as though the zero turn will power through it a lot easier. Were you using a chain saw in this video? Thank you for your response and again posting your videos - it has been very helpful to me! Blessings
Love the good. Ty for that! ❤
Bruh I came for lawn tips not a Jocko montage
Tbh they both look shitty ngl
That hard to reach nut is 17mm. My crecent wrench was too fat to fit in there
DEFCORE! 🤙
If jocko never joined the seals and instead was a landscaper
Against a house would you just let it be flat up against the wall?
I'm a landscaper and this is how I edge as well. People complain about it all the time. "Why are you digging a trench?" ugh...How the edge looks is 'imo' the most important part of the look.
I don't see how it's supposed to stay like this for any significant time. Soil on the grass side will just move and fill that recess. Especially if a rainfall happens.
I would 100% keep twisting my ankle while walking, forgetting about that moat there. 😅
Not convinced. I am an age 70 female who has been doing my own yardwork as long as I can remember. Hubby preferred the housework which suited us both just fine. I'd come in after a day of playing in the dirt to dinner on the table. On football night he'd add a glass of wine so I would pass out early while he enjoyed the game. Cutting that edge is the easy part. Maintenance is the problem. You claim mowing is easy. I see nothing to support all the wheels of the mower. If the mower blades do not remain parallel to the lawn surface, the blades will chop that sharp dirt edge to shreds and scalp the turf. Case in point, my neighbor has been using a weed whacker to edge his lawn along the sidewalks. When that edge gets shacky he whacks again, cutting away more and more of the turf and ever deeper into the dirt. There is now a dirt gutter all around his lawn at least 6 inches wide. He's done it to part of my lawn too and I cannot wrangle my mower wheels over that steep dirt cliff. If not the mower, then rain and foot traffic will collapse your steep dirt cliff. I've seen several landscape ideas that look gorgeous when first installed until Mother Nature expresses her opinion with an enormous belly laugh. We accomplish nothing without her consent. Those who attempt defiance quickly learn who's boss.
