Im pretty sure it’s called the pinwheel. The only other place I’ve seen this move is in the choreo of a song called “K.O.” by SF9(a K-pop group) and that’s what the fans call it. This show came out the same year as the song so maybe the vis tech was a K-pop fan. I can’t find it anywhere else.
These guys used to come to my high school and practice. It was a really cool experience we got to watch them practice and everything to bad it doesn't work out for that any more.
a high school near us: Page High school is using the music from blue coats "tilt" and they literally bought the light up poles directly from music city mystique
Yeah they may have gotten their lowest placement in their history, but I don't think they'll go any lower. Unlike another ensemble that used to be a big contender.
Yeah, BK is pretty nonexistent in WGI nowadays. Colorado just sucks for high-level WGI percussion since a lot of the people who marched BK moved out of state, so we don't have a lot of good instructors anymore.
IMO, MCM's snareline was a little rough this year. And broken city played less notes/ played a lot of the exact same passages over and over. So they were cleaner.
I find it hilarious that they went from this to hand of man. Just starkly different shows one season apart
Suppa cool mystique is anything and everything they wanna be not limited to one show concept (dark shows, happy shows)
The infamous shot heard around the world…
Kenny. Greetinsg. that is best -=))
7:35
5:47 the pingiest ping shot to ever ping
4:35 is a moment that never leaves my head. So many chills
Love the writing at 5:30 and on. It feels like a quintessential mystique moment you wouldn't see anywhere else.
Does anybody know what that visual thing they're doing at 5:55 is called?

@@jevintan.gerine3613 ahh thank you!! i can definitely try and learn it now
I never understood mcm clean and then I realized they have 6 tenors and 6snares and they sound like 1
Nate Jones its like 9 snares dude

By far my favorite show
6:32 where the snares come out is so hype
Night and day difference between this year and last...
yeah, in this one they still have hair lol
Well it is “in bloom”
Rarely see 6 quads in a line, but when you do... they're fucking great.
Yeah either all wgi groups lack dynamics as a whole, or the recording aspect of wgi is just awful now a days
Nick Niehaus Most definitely because of recording.
Nick Niehaus it’s also because UA-cam puts a lot of dynamic compression on videos when you upload them. Softs get louder, Louds aren’t as loud.
i have to be honest and say that MCM always has difficult drill, along with a rather beefy book
a high school near us: Page High school is using the music from blue coats "tilt" and they literally bought the light up poles directly from music city mystique
Hiren Bagga There’s a school near me that stole Mcms show from 2017 and only changed the name from hand of man to toxic lmao
Hiren Bagga Hey Hiren
Hiren Bagga What high school you go too?
castle high school used the props with metamorph this year
bass run at 2:02 gave me chills
So underrated... Cleanest line in the lot by far this year.
7:06 is mean as fuck
The opening marimba attack at 0:53 could create world peace

Like NCA and Eastside Fury? Or did you have someone else in mind?
GingerKing243 No I was actually referring to BK. Their last medal was in 2007. And their last gold medal was in 2003.
+BrothaNBlue2 Gotcha

Rise though, only two spots off of finals for world class.
underrated asf
+Nic A both groups did amazing performances but I definitely agree this show didn't get enough credit

andrew sutliff definitely not rough lol. They were tight
MCM's snareline was ruff up until March. I am in their circuit and they weren't tight until WGI Mid South when they beat Rhythm X.
progress takes time
Props at 5:47. That ping made my heart stop.
Yeah dude, me too. He nailed that haha
Elisha!
I thought I was the only one!
dude hit that when he was still a senior at my high school :0
I feel like a nerd saying this, but this is middle English lol not old English
woops lol. It's a little late but I fixed it
Middle English is pretty old though
Dont sound like English
That’s cause it’s Middle English
