There was another version of this story where the boy had a younger sister and in the night his sister wake up to the noise of her brother begging her to let him out and screaming that he was scared so she felt bad and she opened the door but when she did that means she let Hachishakusama inside and killed her brother. After that night she started to see Hachishakusama which kept repeating "Po Po Po Po Po Po" and "Your Next".
