Hi sorry I don’t have the gun anymore sold it 2 yrs ago , I remember it being fiddly , you’ll just have to play around with it try not to bend it but it should go

Most people won’t understand why you’re doing this but when you have trash on your homestead or plants you are cultivating, these guys are worse than anything out there, true to their name tree rat.
I feel like a more clever and caring person would find a way to squirrel proof their bird feeders. Sitting there, waiting for them, knowing they'll show up to feed on the food put out. Waiting to shoot them seems... very human. Violent, efficient, and without care or emotion for their environment. I don't even need to tell you this is wrong. You knew already, since you preface the video with this warning about choice of viewship. (That you couldn't be bothered to even format properly.) You knew this didn't sit right with you, so you post this hoping for acceptance or support. I accept you, you are human. But we all need to be a bit less human, better than our instincts. A bit more caring, using our strengths for good, making sure not to leave a path of cruelty in our wake. Even the stupid litte tree rats are included in that, and you can choose to care more.

I have followed this now the cocking lever won't fully cock back
From memory I think the hammer is out of position , re visit vid and retry don’t own gun anymore so can’t look
There’s a cut out in the hammer from memory this must be open , you will need to rotate inner to open position

Just done mine having trouble getting it to cocking lever all way back any idea
Been a while since I did it and don’t own the gun anymore, think it’s something to the way the hammer goes back in , look at vid again and go back through comments posted

Yes they wear and are a real pain replaced all the parts on mine still wasn’t right so I guess you need to replace the mags as well but by that time I was so f%cked off with constant problems I p/exchanged it for a Air arms S510 far superior rifle

That’s as maybe , but this is about conservation of our woodland and all that loves in it , saving song birds eggs , chicks and birds from the predation of grey squirrels, that aren’t cute and cuddle but cold calculating killers , feel free to do some research on them

Where is the sick part? He is exterminating pests in a very humane way. Yes they do look "cute" but they are pests nevertheless
Grey squirrels are non native in some places, and they do damage and out compete native species..
Use peanuts as bait, they will hold them and nibble on them, holding steady for a longer period of time.

I’ve had a few comments on other videos asking why I shoot these , Well for those that don’t know , these creatures are an invasive species thar have virtually wiped out our native red squirrels by attacking them but also giving them squirrel pox that the Greys carry and which are immune from unfortunately the Reds aren’t , secondly they destroy woodland by bark stripping trees branches , they kill song birds eat their eggs and chicks , The woods where shoot these was dead from song birds until I started to thin out the Greys now there , blackbird, tits , finches , wrens , robins , nuthatches all returning to where they belong, Greys are not cute cuddly harmless animals but destructive killers
