A tutorial for beginners with no steps skipped. When I looked up how to do this on youtube I could not find a video that did not skip steps or they assumed that I knew more than i knew.
Bike maintenance is important and while I love my local bike shop it gets expensive and during peak bike season turnaround time is a couple of weeks. This tool is to remove the extractor cap which SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED. The extractor cap is meant to stay on and is what removes the cranks. Using this tool to remove the extractor cap will make it impossible to remove your cranks.
