Dread is top 3 for me. The controls are buttery smooth. The game looks great and it provides a challenge. Great boss fights and a great conclusion to the metroid saga story. Also great guidance as it nudges u in the direction to go without straight up telling you and amazing sequence breaking. The only flaw with dread is the music as i prefer more bombastic music over ambient music.

Played through this intro SO MANY TIMES as a dumb kid and mever even got to the Deku Tree 😂

They should go watch your video about the negatives 😂 I remember the old AC games with fondness and my favourite (+ the last one I played) was AC3. I will for sure be keeping an eye out for this new Shadows game. Horizon Zero Dawn has lost its shine for me + Im looking for a new game to play instead of Madden + Stardew Valley 😂

I am sorry but acompanie thta openly disrespects, trashes, treats a entire country liek they know nothing about their own history is not a game that should be celebrated or even think it can be good. Sure it could sell good because of some leftover fans of the franchise, but I am sorry. I don't think someone like you should endorse and praise Ubisoft treatment to an entire country history and inaccuracy all the while how messed up they are treating said country like their garbage and saying they know better than them? Let alone the treatment to the characters are disrespectful and inaccurate completely. A Black gay samurai? I am sorry but why does every African american has to be Gay, LEsbian or transgender? Not all of them are part of the LGBTQ- and this game is DEI and Politically driven to the brim and considering how Ubisoft even tried to sell merchandise by stealing other properties. IE Zoro's sword, to then making a Tori gate statue with Yasuke that was part of the nuclear war and bombing, to now...granted I don't think it was on their part. But releasing the game on the same day of a terrible terrorist attack that happen in japan. Yeah they are SOOO trustworthy and should take our money for disrespecting an entire country and not be sorry at all about their behavior. Oh and contradicting themselves by saying its creative directions, to then saying no it is pure historical facts, to then saying its creative decision...yeah. Oh an dlet's not forget...YASUKE NEVER EXISTED! It has been stored historical facts by a reliable Japan historian that Yasuke was never a samurai, never fought in any battles, nor has he ever wielded a sword. He was practically just a jester to Nobvunaga and was treated like a circus act to amuse and entertain his fellow peers within his sanctum. And we have no idea whatever happened to Yasuke, when Nobunaga's son took reign and released and sent Yasuke back to those who had sold him off and such. Granted, you probably already mention this in another video so just figured to say this in case ya don't know. But yeah...OH and let not forget...Ubisoft treating their paying customers like garbage too and trying to cater to "Modern audiance' and alienating their already existing customers who supported them for this long. And have them abandon them completely because they don't believe 'we' who played the game and stay by it for this many years, don't matter anymore. Phew...sorry for the rant there. Just hope this was...informative

Why should i play shadows?

I like the optimism but it’s delusional at this point and your part of the modern audience. If this is your forte then kudos to you sir. But this game is saying is based on historic events and that it’s an accurate depiction of just that. Which is false. Historians from Japan have even said this is false. If Ubisoft can accept that FACT then i would give them the benefit of the doubt and possibly try the game. Only if they corrected it and polished it. Until then I’ll be on the green side with popcorn watching you drink coffee in flames and say “it’s fine” when it’s not 😂. Don’t be delusional.

All of the recent DEI & Woke pushing agenda games that failed were caused by a lot of people and/or former employees that were connected to Ubisoft, feel free to prove me wrong which I'm not

I have two perspectives, one says let it burn, Ubisoft has needed a reality check for a long time and this is long overdue, let the lost jobs serve as fertile ground for talents to be redistributed in the industry and the talentless waste away. The other really wants to sit down and drop a hundred or so hours into a good new assassins creed game just like the good old days. In my opinion the first perspective is virtually guaranteed. I own AC1, 2, AC2B, AC2R, 3, Rogue, black flag, unity, syndicate, origins, odyssey and Valhalla. It's been a good run but this is just the destiny of publicly traded giants like this. Souless empty husks chasing profit and trying to earn brownie points through socio-political agendas.

I think ppl are taking their hate out for the game and ubisoft out on your opinion and hopes, its cool to hope and thats great, AC has been downhill since ACIII, but still playable kinda, but this just doesnt look good to me. We could be pleasantly surprised, but thats not how you sell a game. Its 2025, the industry should be getting smarter, not more retarded.

So how much did ubisoft pay you?

It got moved back again and as long as gaming companies push dei into their games they will not succeed.

I mean yeah, it could totally be good. Y'know, besides the poor animations, poorly modeled characters, culturally insensitive usage of different aspects of Japanese culture, the inclusion of a person who almost certainly didn't exist in the way that is portrayed in the game, and I can keep going. This is not a hill worth dying on, just play Ghost of Tsushima if you want a proper Japanese AC-type game. The best case scenario for gamers is for Ubisoft to go under and have their IPs scooped up by companies that actually give a damn about making quality products.

Great video! Couldn't believe it when I saw it was over 30 minutes long! What a project. I’m currently working on my own long-form video too, and it’s no easy task, so I really respect the effort you put into this. Your comprehensive list was a treat to watch. I loved seeing the variety of games and genres you explored, along with your commentary. I only managed to play four games this year, and here’s how I’d rank them: 1. Madden 24: I finally made the leap from Madden 22 when 24 went on sale. The long-term planning in franchise mode is my favourite part. 2. Stardew Valley: My partner and I enjoy playing side by side at night. It’s the perfect cozy game where I can unwind, have a drink, and not take anything too seriously. 3. Horizon Zero Dawn: This has been on my list for ages, and I’m really enjoying the experience so far. 4. Titanfall 2: My go-to multiplayer game when I want something fast-paced and exciting. Games that I played that game out in 2024...Zero.

The last time I moved I took the flash drive out of my wii u and I think it had majoras mask aswell as the metroid prime trilogy zelda 1 2 and link to the past. Luckily most of the games I have are physical and ocarina and mincraft were still on the console. Fatal frame maiden of the black water was also on the console not the flash drive but that doesn't really matter.
