The Protest-ant deformation was the beginning of the end of Christendom. It was a turning away from God in order that man could "become" God. Among many other myths, the protest-ants would have us believe that the deformation was a groundswell effort because people wanted to read the bible. Outlandish lie. Throughout human history the vast majority of people couldn't read. No wonder Paul said "faith comes through hearing." The kings of Europe simply wanted to throw off the yoke of Christ. It was about power. Anyone who didn't go along was, at best, persecuted - at worst, drawn and quartered. The world today is reaping what it has sown.
