I’ve thought about doing this so many times for the copper color too but was afraid of ruining an expensive kitchen gadget. This video is inspiring. I’d love to know though, now that you’ve used it since refinishing, have you had any issues with the finish scratching or chipping (more than an expected amount)?

Love all the spring pieces coming out. When we see the Easter decor it really starts to feel like spring ! Was that a fox and chipmunks that were displayed in that one area ? It really is crazy how many unique things you can find thrifting...especially vintage!

I feel bad for people that dislike winter. I absolutely love winter! I would rather be too cool than too hot. I would rather be cozy than sticky! I just love the way the snow reflects the light at night and makes it feel like a full moon outside, even if it's not. I love winter soups, and comfort foods. I am in no hurry for spring. I enjoy being present in the current season.

So sorry to hear about your father, prayers and thoughts are going out to you. I know exactly what you are going through, my father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in August, it devastated my family and was hard times as my father didnt want to leave his house or my mother. It is so hard to see them suffer. He passed on Saturday. Although he isnt in any more pain, which brings me alittle bit of peace, now I worry about my mother, the loneliness she is now left with without my father. I pray your father gets well and enjoy the time you have with him❤

No one really talks about or warns people about this stage of life and how nerve-racking it can be. For those of us who are especially connected to our parents, even as adults, it’s a very stressful season of life. Know that you aren’t alone.
