I Made a Mobile Game in 30 Days
⚡Hi, I’m SERRVIEX! In this video, I'll show you what I built in just 30 days using a template from the Unity Asset Store. I made a multiplayer racing game in Unity from assets, and this is my first time developing a game in such a short time.

In this devlog, I’ve taken a big step forward by adding a variety of weapons to my Unity multiplayer game! I’ve introduced two weapon types: Ranged and Melee, along with a robust Equipment Manager to handle smooth weapon switching during gameplay. For shooting mechanics, I implemented bullets using prefabs and optimized performance with object pooling. To make aiming precise and immersive, I ap...

124th subscirber, good luck on the journey!
The game looks great however I recommend not forcing sign ups
Thanks! Ye I know that many people don't like sing up, but this was a requirement to save the progress when delete the game, loose the phone or other cases.
actually im making a game right now, i hope it will spread a bit, but now lets focus on yours, imma try it out dont worry :)
I'm sure your game will be amazing! Good luck.
Since 112 subs 😊
110th sub. Just to take that place😂
wow coll video
Thanks!
Mamma mia, bravo! I dont know why but I always recognize pizza's eater. Comunque belli gli occhiali.
Just so i leave my mark, here since 97 subs!
pretty cool video
Thank you❤
my man is so underrated, up and coming DaniDev
I'm trying to do my best!
Wow man, this is sick! Your video style is amazing, so I'm just commenting to say "Here before it blows up." xD But honestly dude don't limit yourself with a 4-minute long video, I would have loved to see more from the process of making the game, some timelapses of you making the tracks, some not too deep explanations of the challenges you faced and so on. Don't worry about the retention, I wanna watch it so I'll watch the whole thing, and I bet there's so many others that would too!
Hah, thank you, I'm happy that you enjoyed my video! Oh really, I thought that people love to watch only some key features of game development, and to not upset them, I do short videos, but I will try to extend them and add more interesting moments! Thanks for your time and opinion!
@@serrviexdev Definitely do these kinds of things for youtube shorts, but if you look at my videos, or videos of DiME making racetracks for simulators, people love to see the process. Keep it up man you got a sub from me
Bro how are you not famous your video and game both are great ❤
I'm newbie here, thank for your appreciation❤
There is to much work around like: print('1');print('2') Or just making as you code with lua and use python to run it. Rather then you adding new lines you could use
That is dope AF! I've managed to reduce my game code by 50% but I'm still at just under 400 lines. Kudos to you, GJ!
You also did well!
You deserve more subs.. I cant believe i have more subs
Thanks😊
this is hilarious :D
what the hell how does bro only have 70 subs
Fr
🚀I’m really excited about this game, and I hope you’ll enjoy it too! 💡I’m open to feedback, critiques, and new ideas to make it even better. Let me know what you think in the comments! 🔗 Download Turbo Clash: 📱iOS: apps.apple.com/us/app/turbo-clash-racing-multiplayer/id6739469702 📱Android: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.meliorapps.turboclash&hl=en
Its better to count tokens like ; and } instead of lines of code, because there is no ambiguity, and you can format the code properly. The title is not worse in me opinion: "I've coded a game in 101 statements"
If I start to count tokens I will never end it😂
everything can be a helper library
That's right, I even use Unity hat has millions of code lines. But how I mentioned. Only gameplay or actual game logic(tower, enemies, spawner, projectiles) must be counted.😄 If you'll add a lot of libraries to make this simple game, I think calling them also will reach 100 lines
Add zombies
If continue to develop this game, here we can really do a lot of stuff
😂the accent is great
😅thanks
Can you make an indepth video on creating UI?
Hi, I have my own robust UI Navigation System, it really helps to create UI for easy with transitions. But it is not finished and for the beginners it will be a little bit confusing. But creating just a video about creating elementary UI System from scratch.... mhm, nope. You can find on UA-cam a lot of videos.
Great stuff! Using JSON files feel like a bit of a cheat though. In theory you could create a JSON file programming language intepreter and write all your code in JSON. :D Otherwise cool challenge, liked the sprites!
I knew that someone will notice about that, I also thought about it not to use, but in this case I wouldn't be able to make a good game within 101 lines of code. So for data I thought to use JSON. But in case if I would write the code in interpreted language, that will be counted also as a gameplay code, so I would consider it ))
bro, you are so underatted. i thought you had 1000's of subs. great video im subbing.
Thank you very much, I appreciate that!
💯
would creating a simple state machine be way different on like...say a 3d platform fighter
No, all are almost the same, except realization and it's scale. State machine is a pattern so, and it is used in a lot of cases by a lot of people.
@@serrviexdev awesome, thanks for the reply
Im currently learning c# but havent got into game dev can you recommend any course or should i just use documentation
Awesome! Take a look at sunny valley studio youtube channel, he has video about C# and his channel is based entirely on on Unity😉
@serrviexdev thanks alot man!
Nice Game keep it up if u want to work on something together happy to help.
Trying to get into learning how to make games. Was wondering how I should start, and what software to use? Thanks!
Good question! I'll be making a video about Unity in a few days, stay tuned for that!
I'd drop a comment about my game dev fails but i only make Minecraft Servers
Oh, that's cool! But making Minecraft servers can be also tricky with mods! I remember when I also wanted to have my own Minecraft server before, but then I had no time, no money and no server🤣.
@@serrviexdev Minecraft Servers are a complicated concept, although we don't use mods, we use plugins. Mods require the player to have them downloaded before joining, plugins are only downloaded on the server.
What organization software do you use? Is it paid?
I'm using Jira, and yes it is free, but also has premium features if you want them.
i like the game design but i feel like some of the art style is different in some areas but overall good job
Yep, there is such a thing, the game was modified 2-3 times so something old was combined with something new)
Nice Video
Thank you!
Nice video 😃
Thanks 😁
Do you think pursuing game development could be more financially rewarding than attending college, given the high costs and time commitment of a college education?
Hi, I graduated from college, but it gave me almost nothing, all I know is thanks to my persistence. I can say one thing, for the most part, everything depends on you. Because they teach differently everywhere, somewhere badly, somewhere well. In any case, you will need to practice on your own and create pet projects, this is what will teach you to face all the problems that are not on the surface. About financial stability, honestly, not everything is as rosy as I would like. For me personally, at the moment there are more negative moments than positive ones. But it is different for everyone.
@@serrviexdev Indeed, passion and persistence are what matter most given the circumstances. I wish you all the best!
Bro can you recommend me a free online course i am learning my self but its just too much confusing
Welcome bro, sure, I can recommend some youtubers that I used to watch to learn good things to make a game: Brackeys (video are olds, but still relevant) Sunny Valley Studio (can teach you not only good mechanics, but also he has C# courses) - I did voxel terrain generator using his videos. Also join his discord channel, he can help you with your questions about everything. I watched more channels on youtube, but for beginners those 2 are very suitable. Clean code and good explanation. Also use ChatGPT if you have questions, you can ask about each line of code what it does, it really can teach you. I hope this will help you to learn, just keep practicing every day at least 3 months, and you will get the results!
Great devlog! Great "Skill bar" progress!
Thank you! I'm trying to do my best🤩
Im also doing a game with 2d rigged characters, im glad i found your channel
Welcome here😂 And how it is on your side? Well?
@@serrviexdev Thanks, never, im collecting things to fix
