2/3 of that material had no business going through a crusher. Might have been 2 dozen rocks that actually needed crushed. Mostly dirt.

I guess my question is, where does it all go? This machine looks like it is in a partially submerged/ subterranean installation. I assume there is a conveyor moving material out from underground.

I’m confused. 95% of that is already at the grade needed for its purpose. Why pass it through a crusher when it’s already at that grade? Seems a waste of hard work when the larger pieces could be picked up and dropped in. What comes out below, still has to be processed so just take the smaller stuff straight to the plant.

It is a totally ridiculous design of a hopper and a poor choice of bucket and reach on the excavator. Apart from that it is interesting to see how many 'goofers' it takes to clear a hopper
