I got a kindle basic this year and I love it

I’m glad you’re back and are doing ok . I’m going through a hard time and I’m depressed because my mom is in the hospital sick has been for a while 😔💔🥲

I have 4 e-readers and 3 of them are Kindles. One thing I want to say before I go through what I have is that I LOVE reading manga on my Kindle. I got a Kindle in 2021 specifically to read manga because I had just discovered it and fell in love with manga...but it can be so expensive and it takes up so much space in my house. So I got the 10th gen paperwhite for that...and then fell in love with reading EVERYTHING on my Kindle. My reading just...exploded. I discovered so many indie authors...indie horror and romance in particular with Kindle Unlimited. And they also have Comixology Unlimited which is 5.99 a month and I have read so much manga on that and graphic novels too. So I still have that 10th gen paperwhite as my take everywhere Kindle and for reading in the bath and stuff. Then earlier this year I got a 2022 basic kindle because I was trying to read a short story a daily everyday this year...and I was getting frustrated constantly switching books on my paperwhite. I was also running out of space because of the manga of that older model with only 8gb. So the basic has 16gb and it let me download everything with no space issues. And I love the smaller size of that one...and I use it for the short story reads every day. I'm sad it's not waterproof because otherwise it's the perfect Kindle for me. Then...I got the Colorsoft. And...I LOVE IT! I read a lot of graphic novels and I can tell you that in the 1.5 months since getting it...I've read enough graphic novels on it with Comixology Unlimited and ones from Libby that it has paid for itself. I like reading on it so much. And I get migraines from LCD screens...so that's why tablets don't work for me for reading and I like physical books but get hand pain...so digital reading is my preferred way to read because of that. And then I have a BOOX Go Color 7...which I use with all my OTHER reading apps like Hoopla, Shonen Jump, Everand, Webtoons, etc. And just one more thing...cases. I swapped out ALL my ereader cases for the ones with 2 straps and a stand. They are the most comfortable and functional for me because I can use either hand or the stand when I don't want to hold it at all. Sorry for the long comment...I just love my ereaders and they have helped me read so much more with the health iasues...have made so many books more accessible to me. Happy you are enjoying yours so far and I hope you continue to love it over time.
