Once Nick plays Cape Wickham , i think he will understand. Bit hard to judge it until you have seen it. I was lucky enough to play it with only a one club wind, and played it three times. Easily number 1 in australia.

Nice podcast! I think the low viewers for pro golf is a similar situation to pro surfing. Surfing has massive recreational participation rates but nobody watches professional events. People would rather be out playing or surfing maybe? And the pro level in anything is another level beyond anyones normal ability. I think UA-camrs are so popular because they are relatable as well.

All the talk about “growing the game” is all nonsense. It is all about money and personal bank accounts. In 2023 170 people were executed by the Saudi Government. LIV players accept blood money from a Saudi regime that steps on human rights, on democracy and women's right. If you want to grow the game then first of all start growing as humans and grow your human values. Step up for people which are being suppressed and tortured - and stop lying and taking us for a ride. Who cares if Jon Rahm will play the Ryder Cup again. His swing is ugly anyway and nobody wants to watch a player who has blood money in his pockets.

So last week guy tied 2nd on PGA made $800k… guy tied 2nd LIv made $1.9 mil plus $375 for team so $2.2 mil vs $800 k. They also only played 3 days. If you can say you would not join LIV and get 3x $$ and play less you are a fool

Yeah Jay Monahan had him bent over running around promoting the tour…then Jay betrays him and does the deal on side. Rory claimed to have one of best relationship with Jay. Rory also said he felt like they owed him something for being loyal to the tour. Hmmn I dunno but he could join LIV after Masters IMO
