Sompasaunan ensimmäiset kesätanssiaiset järjestettiin loppukesästä 2014. Tuohon aikaan Sompiksen meno ja meininki oli yhteisöllisyydessään vielä leppoisan pienimuotoista. Seuraavana kesänä saunan tanssiaisiin tulikin yllättäen tusina ruokarekkaa ja kenties tuhat vierasta - Facebookissa oli kiinnostuneita noin 4000 - hullua! Kuten kuvasta näkyy 10 vuotta sitten droneissa ei ollut vielä toimivaa ...

There is a huge "park" in the city center of Helsinki, which lacks trees, bushes and people, i.e. the things that make a park a park. The approximately 10-hectare open space currently does not offer any kind of recreational value to city dwellers. Töölönlahti park is just a huge and barren stunted lawn plantation - shame on Helsinki! Soundtrack made by Nemesis (thanks guys!)

This performance festival was organized in the so-called "Pasila [graffiti] gallery", i.e. in the former train tunnel in Helsinki. Strange, as performance festivals always are... :-)

The first Kinobox Avantgarde Obscura event was organized in Lapinlahti in the late summer of 2016 by the activists of the Kinobox collective and Lapinlahden Tilajakamo cooperative. The first half of the video is a photo gallery of my photos, followed by a short video whose orchestra consists of friends of Lapinlahti, to whom a big thank you for the soundtrack! I did the lighting of the event.
