You do read a lot of books! I read six in January, which I thought was a large number. A few of the books you mentioned have tickled my fancy - I’m intrigued by the D E Stevenson books. I'm adding them to my list.

Good selection! I love the classics. I've never got involved in any of the reading challenges and so my reading is very random. Do you read more than one book at a time?

You had some great reads this month. Every Christmas I think I will read some themed books but never get it done. I forget about Christie's stories so maybe I'll read some this month. I really enjoyed the Barsetshire series; I read it a couple of years ago. Trollope is one of my favorite authors.

I finished Out of the Silent Planet on November 29th. So, I participated in CS Lewis reading day without knowing it was happening! Great video. I will share more of my reads in a video soon!

Good luck with your September reading! There are some Shakespeare plays I'd like to read, but I have so much on my plate right now I don't want to commit to participating. One thing I know about his writing is that it require a lot of focus! I read Hamnet a few years ago - for a fictionalized version of his life story. (Good book.) ... the biography looks good too.

I've read most of Agatha Christie's mysteries and really enjoy Miss Marple. Right now I'm reading The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store which I'm loving and I'm continuing to read Bleak House which I started some time ago and pick up from time to time.

I've been reading quite consistently this year. My plans are more about themes than specific books, which apparently works for me. It was mostly non-fiction, which is not ideal, so I should probably read some Brandon Sanderson next year. Merry Christmas!

I'm be doing the Dickens December hosted by Dickens and Docks and a few others on a different platform. It's 4 or 5 Christmas novellas by different Victorian authors.

I love both The Woman and White and The Way We Live Now and am very much enjoying my reread of the latter. I haven’t read Hester but am reading a Margaret Oliphant called Salem Chapel which is the third in the Carlingford series, it’s very enjoyable although not what I expected!
