I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type 1 (Brittle bones). I try not to let it hold me back from doing the things I have always wanted to do. It's not always easy, but life is short, get out and live it.

NMA Rimrock GP 2024 - 2024 KTM 150XC-W
This was the final race of the season and an absolutely sick place to ride. Every year, Rimrock Lake in Washington State is drained partially and the NMA is somehow able to setup a track on the lake bed. It was rocky but where there was dirt, it was awesome. I rode what I feel is my best ride yet.

I took some pointers from my riding buddy and watched the night race at the track to see how these guys ride so fast. Mostly corner speed and when to roll on the throttle to use the rear wheel spin to help turn the bike.

Another ride at Horn Rapids. This time, the whole track was open so I was able to ride the whole track and see some new jumps. I took Tanners advice and changed my suspension settings from comfort to sport based on the manual.

We started riding in the mountains finally. I've been wanting to get this XCW in the woods since i got it and I must say, this bike is an absolute riot to ride in the technical stuff. The 150 is more than capable in this terrain.

Took the new bike to the sandy Horn Rapids complex for thebsecond time to try and redeem myself. First time riding these courses in their entirety. Met a cool dude and who pushed me a little and convinced me to try some new stuff. Expect more area 51 in the near future

@@brokeandpoor Thanks, that means a lot to a newer rider like me. I agree about the bike, it's like a bicycle compared to my XR400 that i learned on. Message me if you ever get stumped working on it, theres not a lot of content for this bike i've noticed.

Don't worry about it, I'm not trying to win. I had a blast and it was all part of making memories. But he was getting it, i heard that 2 stroke screaming and saw the front wheel first, it was pretty spectacular, im glad i got it on camera for you. Did he end up finishing?

At least we got it out of the way early in the race. Yea, it was tough. I have some serious practicing to do in the deep stuff though, I never really got comfortable In the sand during the race. How did you ride?
@AvgAzn I got better each lap, and then my 4th lap was a major struggle just to cross the line. I think I fell 4 or 5 times on that lap.

Thanks man. Ive never ridden sand like this and ive only had a bike for less than a year, this sand was TOUGH. I should've been going a lot faster in hind sight. It was still a blast thiugh. Are you racing Eddieville next Sunday?
Dude you did great, that sand was a butt kicker for sure. I don’t know if I will be at eddiville but I know I will be at Horn Rapids on Saturday
