Very heavily pro AI, and not every use case obviously. I am very against art theft in the case of AI, and of course I don't want real people to be replaced, I wish for ethical use. AI as it is today is an important tool, and one created in good faith if not plain innocence. If you hate AI, and think it's bad and evil especially, I advise you to reflect on the system we live in rather than go cancel mode on what's the equivalent of a bad person using a spatula to kill someone. It's not the spatulas fault. Don't be technophobic plz.

When I first watched Shamook's video, I remember instantly wanting to hear (at the time) an impersonator redubbing the lines. It's been some years since it came out, and who would have ever guessed I could just do it myself with AI.. and when you think about it, I'm kinda just deepfaking the audio.

People were complaining about the addition of Young Nudy, given what he added to the song. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it and prefer it without. I then decided it might be cool to mix them together to get the best of both worlds. Hope this came out well, I put my all into it. I do not own any rights to this song, nor does it belong to me. I went to work for this one! I made sure to give both Rick and Morty the most correct sounding pitch levels I could possibly generate. I did my own pitch correction when I felt it was needed as well, but did so very sparingly for quality sake. I really want to add his voice to the new Garfield trailer, and I've been editing that. Unless I can think of a genuinely funny song to have him sing, or maybe something else similar in range again like this song, I'd do another. Nothing jumps out to me immediately though tbh.
Interesting the AI doesn't pick up on the fact Wilkins is greyish-brown and Wontkins is red.
This video is three years old now, and I'll be honest, my friend at the time did most of the work. Doing stuff on my crappy phone paled in comparison to what his computer could do at the time, so I picked out what AI enhancing stuff we'd need and went with it. I was really inexperienced to AI at the time, was always watching for it but I didn't (probably still don't) know what the absolute best tools are. My friend also went in and manually photoshopped some holes to be patched, (edit: scratches on the film too) so we did consider coloring it ourselves by hand. I just didn't want to ask him to do that after all the hole patching, considering I had no ability to contribute at that point. If this video was posted yesterday instead of back then, I would have not only used generative fill or inpainting to fix holes fast, but the coloring could be tuned to my exact liking with the right tool as well

They really don't sound all that different and the new season was pretty good overall. This whole drama is so overblown and unnecessary, people need to just accept that Roiland's gone, it's not like he contributed much to the show outside of the voices anyway.
He was more involved in the the first couple seasons but after that he barley contributed shit

I'm perfectly in the middle. I acknowledge the new voices are different but not too different. The show still has its footing and the voices haven't bothered me a bit. I just wanted to do comparisons to show any possible differences and to highlight when the new people have absolutely nailed it.

You should do this for the new Episode of Death Battle with Rick in it.
I've been attempting this with some good results but also some issues as well, just trying to get it to process the audio well. I've said I like redubbing this stuff when I have free time, so that and feeling nostalgic for Death Battle led me to at least try. I used to watch with my niece all the time, and I miss her hella. Honestly I'll keep fiddling but no promises that I can make it work without it sounding trash.
