Washington still has a REALLY good bus service! But it’s a pity it hasn’t been connected to The Metro or British Rail yet.

Would like to have seen more of Imperial 1 at 12 seconds on recording, I used to work on it back in the late 1960s.

Class 144 has been saved to survive. Used to be used for Northern Rail. Probably is used for preserved railways. 😃

Hi Nath.I love a bus ride especially where I am living as they are StageCoach coaches which look like Greyhounds.One thing I was surprised about how come it was not electric !.As always an interesting video.Chris

I sometimes use Grand Central from Wakefield to Kings Cross, pretty good, although LNER can sometimes beat them on the price, and they've got much newer trains too!

Its a catenary

It was better when it was protected from the elements by a platform canopy that ran the whole length of platform 1 up to the road bridge. The remnants of the canopy can be seen in the background standing outside what was once the parcels office.

Some drivers are more friendly than others giving either a wave or a honk.....I loved the freight train horn early in your video.Thanks for sharing Nath.Chris
