Is the Kingdom Seed in You Growing?

The more that I grow in my walk with Jesus Christ, it's not that I recognize that I need his grace less. That's not true. The more I grow in Christ, the more I realize I need more and more Jesus to deal with the brokenness and mess in my life.
Amen! Such a powerful message! 🙌🏽 I’m grateful that Community Life shares our sermons on UA-cam so I can still experience them even when I’m able to attend in person. Pastor Mathew, thank you for the encouraging reminder that we don’t need to wear the title of Pastor to share the gospel and invite those around us to know Jesus 🥰

I agree & disagree. We as Christians sow seeds wherever we go, not knowing what happens to those seeds. You never know who you talk to, & have the oppertunity to help, or witness the Gospel will use that. So church is not the only place to work😊

@@communitylifepeoria Thank you, church done right, as a nurturing place for new believers is great. To welcome that new believer, & give emotional support without judging who, what, or how they look is the great failure of the local church. Mature Christians should be overjoyed to see a person who needs love & understanding, regardless of how they look, or dress. That is the role of the Church, to help that new believer mature. They come as babes in Christ, they need milk, & understanding, & in time they will hopefully mature in the faith. How many people I have talked to that said, I went to that church one time, they made me feel like I did not belong there. That is hard to overcome when witnessing to them. If churches want to succeed, they need to focus on people not raised in church, as in the past most were. I believe more today than in years past new people come because of a seed planted to that local church, & it's up to those members to love them, & make them feel welcome.

I learned this verse when I was 7 years old at an after school church program. After returning home to an empty house, I thought I heard a knock on the door. I didn’t see anyone so thought, “it must be Jesus”. I invited Him in and He has never left me. He knows me 100% and loves me anyway.

Hello The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom! Jesus the Messiah suffered and died, God raised him from the dead and exalted him to his right hand! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! Believers will rule the nations with Jesus! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! They will rule the nations! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
