Hello, thanks for watching. From Hualien to Taichung is kind of far, our destination was Cinjing instead. Most travellers go there via charter service, and there are two choices, one is by taxi (NT.7,000-8,000 per car), only worth if you have few friends to share… and another one is by bus (NT.1,500 per person). If you don't mind to go with other people, you can choose the cheaper one (by bus). The bus will pick you in the morning where you stay then take you to Cinjing, also do some sightseeing along the way. The arrival time around 4:00 to 5:00pm on the same day. All these can be arranged and help book by the minsu (but please check with yours before hand because I'm not sure every minsu provide such service) For our case, our minus help booked the bus for us, however due to "China's Golden Week" period, the bus company unable to send us there, our minsu owner is very kind to arrange a taxi last minute with no extra cost. Our taxi driver is a very good tour guide as well (you can watch our day 4 video). We travelled to Taichung by bus on next day. It was arranged by our minus owner in Cinjing. It took about 4-5 hours to Taichung town central and cost NT.300 per person. Hope my answer helps.

James Oh Hi, thanks for your help. For my case, I would be going from Taichung to cinjing followed by Hualien next. My trip starts in Kaohsiung/Kenting. And for my case, it is quite hard to get a cab as there are 5 members, and most cabs only take 4 max. I'll see how it goes and plan accordingly, thanks for the reply.
