1.How was the first 30 seconds of silence for you? What did you notice about your default thoughts and actions? Why do you think you default to these things?
2.Share your thoughts on being still and the deeper meaning of “to cease striving” - do you find this easy or hard to do? Why?
3.Share your thoughts on being quiet - do you find this easy or hard to do? Why?
4.How was the second 30 seconds of silence for you? How was it different from the first, if at all?
5.Discuss together a practical way that each of you can be still and quiet before the Lord this week. Take note of your experience to share with your group when you gather again.
