Hey! There are two different models. The EV4 with it is an E-GMP based electric hatchback and sedan, and then the K4 which it is a Hyundai K3 platform based ICE and Hybrid models that will be also available in hatch and sedan models (sedan is already available in several markets)

@@_-Lea_- My pleasure! This will be the first in-house developed battery. I think they prefer to use ncm due to the agreements they had with Korean companies instead of using Chinese batteries.

@@KoreanCarBlogTV Do you know which brand is used for the NMC battery of the Inster? Sadly LG "is known" for lots of FIRES and product recalls, in photovoltaic batteries as well as in car batteries. There just was another recall from VW / Porsche 1 day ago, because their LG Chem batteries could catch fire. I've seen news / articles like that for LG Chem batteries since many years already... I would definitley prefere a Chinese LFP battery over LG Chem NMC, I have no trust in batteries from LG anymore.

@@_-Lea_- It is from a new joint venture signed by Hyundai Motor Group and LG Energy Solution, in the new Indonesian factory. This factory also supplies KIA EV3

Yes, currently there are two prototypes rolling there, one with black/white classic camouflage and the other with the N-theme camouflage with the “Never Just Drive”

@@SamKhoury Yeah it is pretty cool! Regarding the 2025 KIA EV6, it will be released during LA AutoShow in mid-November.

@@KoreanCarBlogTVThanks! And that makes sense because it gives them time to clear out the 2024 models which still have a lot of stock here in the US. I was hoping it would be released soon so I could take advantage of the usual December promotions to get the 2025 model but releasing the next model year in mid November is much later than usual so they'll probably not have any good promotions in December. I'm assuming the US 2025 EV6 GT-Line will have the same exterior color options as Korea and UK because I want to get it in wolf gray.

@@SamKhoury My pleasure! In UK for example the regular has only 4 colors while in Korea has up to 8. In the case of the GT-Line is the same despite the new Yatch Blue Matte that is available in Korea not UK.
